  • • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying, and converting inbound leads and trials into loyal, paying customers for BILL's comprehensive suite of financial automation tools.
  • • You will be responsible for identifying and understanding the unique pain points of corporate businesses, effectively demonstrating how BILL's solutions can address these challenges, and ultimately closing new business.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves prioritizing and managing your assigned book of business to maximize sales opportunities and achieve ambitious targets.

  • • Your responsibilities will encompass managing a diverse range of leads, including those generated by our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and leads you personally source through proactive outreach.
  • • A significant portion of your success will stem from your ability to identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting efforts, diligent lead follow-up, strategic networking, and cultivating strong partner relationships within your designated market segment. Approximately 40% of new leads will require outbound sourcing, demanding a proactive and entrepreneurial approach.
  • • You will expertly navigate the entire sales process, from initial qualification and in-depth needs analysis to delivering compelling product demonstrations, skillfully negotiating terms, and securing the final close.
  • • Developing and maintaining an in-depth, expert-level knowledge of BILL's Spend & Expense products and services is crucial for effectively communicating value and addressing client needs.
  • • Equally important is developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of your assigned territory, the broader marketplace, competitive offerings, and other relevant business factors that impact your sales strategy and execution.
  • • Effective time management and prioritization skills are essential to maximize your productivity and achieve optimal results in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • • You will be expected to meticulously document all daily sales activities using our Salesforce automation tool, prepare accurate and insightful reports, develop reliable forecasts, actively manage your sales pipeline, and perform other critical tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and provide clear communication of your activities to sales management.
  • • This role requires a proactive approach to understanding customer needs and aligning BILL's solutions to drive significant business impact for our clients.
  • • You will be a trusted advisor, helping businesses streamline their financial operations and gain valuable time back to focus on their core objectives.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6+ years of sales experience in a closing role, with a proven track record of consistently ranking in the top 10%-20% of your peers.
  • • Demonstrated experience in outbound lead sourcing and a comfort level working with quick sales cycles (ideally 40-60 days or less).
  • • Proficiency with best-in-class sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Tableau.
  • • Experience working collaboratively with lead generation and implementation/success teams, and a background in B2B and SaaS sales.
  • • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to be powerfully persuasive and consultatively engage with potential clients.
