- • As a founding member of our corporate close sales motion, you will be instrumental in bringing our proven solution to internal accounting teams. Since our inception in 2021, Double has secured $12 million in funding from prominent tech investors, including Y Combinator and founders from industry-leading startups like Lattice, Front, Superhuman, and Plaid. We currently empower thousands of bookkeepers and accountants to manage the financial operations of startups and small businesses across the United States.
- • In this full-cycle Account Executive role, your primary responsibility will be to prospect for and close deals with accountants who are seeking to modernize their month-end close processes. This involves a comprehensive approach, from identifying potential clients to nurturing relationships and securing new business.
- • Your day-to-day activities will be dynamic and results-oriented. You will be tasked with converting high-quality inbound leads into closed-won deals, leveraging your sales acumen to guide prospects through the sales funnel. Simultaneously, you will proactively identify and engage with new prospects through strategic cold outreach via email, cold calling, and LinkedIn messaging, expanding our reach within the corporate accounting sector.
- • A significant part of your role will involve conducting discovery calls to deeply understand prospect needs, delivering compelling product demonstrations via Zoom (with cameras on for all meetings), and managing free trial engagements to showcase the value of Double's platform. Your ability to articulate the benefits and ROI of our solution will be critical to your success.
- • Collaboration is key at Double. You will work closely with our Customer Success team to ensure a seamless transition for new clients, facilitating their successful onboarding and identifying opportunities for account expansion. This partnership ensures our clients achieve maximum value from Double.
- • You will also serve as a crucial link between our sales efforts and product development. By communicating feature blockers and valuable prospect feedback to the product team, you will directly influence the evolution of our platform, ensuring it continues to meet the evolving needs of the accounting industry.
- • To excel in this role, you will need to develop and maintain a keen understanding of Double's product suite, its unique selling propositions, and the specific pain points it addresses for corporate accounting teams. You will become an expert in why businesses choose Double to revolutionize their close process.
- • This position offers a highly attractive compensation structure, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) ranging from $110,000 to $150,000, commensurate with your experience level. Beyond the base salary, you will benefit from uncapped commission, providing significant earning potential. Our top Account Executives are currently achieving annual earnings of approximately $230,000, reflecting the lucrative nature of this opportunity.
- • The role is fully remote, offering flexibility and work-life balance. However, it does involve a few weeks of travel annually for important industry events and team off-sites, fostering strong team cohesion and professional development.
- • You will manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach and qualification to demoing the product and closing the deal. Our sales representatives consistently close between 3 to 8 deals per week. The average Annual Contract Value (ACV) for our Mid-Market team is $9,000, and for our Small and Medium Business (SMB) team, it is $2,800. Monthly quotas are set between $40,000 and $50,000 in ARR, providing clear targets for your performance.
