  • • Own a named portfolio of existing crypto-native accounts with full accountability for ARR retention, renewal execution, and churn risk mitigation across the Americas and beyond.
  • • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with Technical Account Managers as the senior commercial point of contact for key clients, ensuring proactive engagement before contract expirations.
  • • Monitor account health signals and develop save plans to prevent churn, using data-driven insights and collaboration with internal teams.
  • • Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities across Blockdaemon’s product suite—including Staking, Dedicated Nodes, API Suite, and Earn/DeFi Stack—tailoring expansion plays to specific customer cohorts.
  • • Convert single-product relationships into multi-product engagements by aligning product value propositions with the operational needs of exchanges, custodians, protocol foundations, asset managers, and stablecoin companies.
  • • Coordinate with Product and Technical Account Managers before making any product commitments to ensure alignment and feasibility.
  • • Build and manage a personal pipeline of new logo opportunities across CNBU’s target cohorts: crypto-native exchanges, liquidity providers, VC-backed projects, digital asset treasuries, crypto-native banks, and DeFi operators.
  • • Execute structured outbound prospecting in partnership with Marketing, leveraging VC and investment group relationships to access high-ROI portfolio company introductions.
  • • Own the full B2B sales cycle from initial prospecting through closing, using Salesforce to track all activities, opportunities, and forecast stages with precision.
  • • Attend and actively participate in leading crypto industry events across the US and the Americas, with pre-scheduled meetings and mandatory pipeline tracking in Salesforce.
  • • Maintain rigorous Salesforce hygiene across all accounts, opportunities, and activities; forecast integrity is non-negotiable.
  • • Participate in weekly CNBU pipeline reviews, providing stage-weighted forecasts with clear next steps and ownership of outcomes.
  • • Communicate credibly with technical and executive stakeholders—including CTOs, Heads of Infrastructure, CEOs, and Heads of Product—on blockchain infrastructure topics such as staking mechanics, dedicated node architecture, RPC/API endpoints, and DeFi stack value propositions.
  • • Demonstrate deep familiarity with the digital asset ecosystem, including regulatory momentum in the US and its impact on infrastructure investment decisions.
  • • Maintain a multi-product mindset in every customer interaction, consistently seeking second and third product opportunities beyond initial contracts.
  • • Operate with high ownership, proactively sourcing, qualifying, and progressing opportunities with disciplined, data-driven execution.
  • • Collaborate effectively with Technical Account Managers, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams while maintaining clear personal accountability for revenue outcomes.
  • • Function within a startup-within-a-company environment where process-building and execution occur simultaneously.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2–5 years of quota-carrying experience in crypto or blockchain sales or account management, with direct experience selling staking, dedicated node infrastructure, RPC/API products, DeFi or earn stack services, or crypto custody infrastructure
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage an existing account book, including renewing contracts, growing ARR through expansion, and protecting against competitive churn, alongside a track record of winning new logos in a B2B crypto environment
  • • Solid working knowledge of blockchain infrastructure, including how staking works, what dedicated nodes and RPC/API endpoints do, and how earn and DeFi stack products create value for crypto-native customers
  • • Familiarity with at least two or three of CNBU’s core cohorts: exchanges, custodians, protocols, VC groups, or asset managers
  • • High ownership mentality with strong CRM discipline, accurate forecasting, and structured outbound prospecting skills
  • • Excellent communication skills for executive, technical, and written outreach in B2B crypto sales contexts
