📋 Description

  • **Join Ravio: Revolutionizing Compensation for Innovative Companies**
  • Ravio is at the forefront of transforming how companies approach compensation, a critical factor in attracting and retaining top talent. We understand that compensation significantly impacts employees' lives and is a key driver for business success. Yet, many organizations struggle with outdated data and inadequate tools, leading to suboptimal pay decisions. This is where Ravio steps in. Our cutting-edge, real-time data platform empowers the world's most forward-thinking and ambitious companies to build stronger teams and achieve their strategic objectives by providing unparalleled insights into compensation trends across salaries, equity, and benefits. We are driven by a passion for fairness, ensuring everyone is compensated equitably, irrespective of their background. We firmly believe that when compensation is managed effectively, it creates a win-win scenario for both employees and employers.
  • **Drive Growth in the Strategic DACH Market**
  • As an Account Executive for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), you will be instrumental in building and scaling one of Ravio's most vital markets. Germany already represents our second-largest market in terms of revenue and customer base, highlighting the immense potential and strategic importance of this territory. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership, shape regional strategies, establish a robust market presence, and become the definitive face of Ravio across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will operate with significant autonomy, making critical decisions and driving the success of this key region.
  • **Full Lifecycle Sales Ownership and Strategic Impact**
  • This role encompasses the entire commercial lifecycle, from initial prospecting and developing outbound strategies to meticulous negotiation and closing deals. You will work closely with Ravio's founders and Commercial leadership, developing into a recognized expert in compensation trends and contributing to our international expansion strategy. Your responsibilities will include researching and identifying potential clients within the DACH tech industry, ranging from early-stage startups to established public companies. You will need to cultivate a deep understanding of the diverse compensation challenges faced by these companies and articulate how Ravio's innovative solutions can address them effectively.
  • **Building Relationships and Driving Market Insight**
  • A core aspect of this role involves building and nurturing strong, lasting relationships with prospective customers. You will engage in ongoing dialogues, acting as a trusted advisor who leads with education and insight rather than a hard sell. By deeply understanding customer needs, you will guide them toward making smarter, more modern compensation decisions. You will collaborate closely with our Marketing and Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams to ensure a consistent flow of qualified leads, and with the Customer Success team to guarantee a seamless onboarding experience for new clients. Your contributions will directly influence Ravio's product development, as you will share valuable market insights with our Product team to help refine our data products and workflow tools.
  • **Ideal Candidate Profile: Driven, People-Oriented, and Results-Driven**
  • We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven individual with a genuine passion for working with people. The ideal candidate possesses a sharp commercial instinct combined with exceptional emotional intelligence, enabling them to build credibility and rapport with a wide range of stakeholders, from junior HR professionals to C-suite executives. You thrive in environments where you have ownership, consistently deliver results independently, and excel at transforming ambiguity into tangible opportunities. While prior SaaS sales experience or a strong understanding of the compensation landscape is advantageous, your innate curiosity, drive, and ambition are paramount. If you are excited by the prospect of owning a region, building a market from the ground up, and contributing to the growth of a category-defining company with global aspirations, this role is an exceptional fit for you.
  • **Key Responsibilities and Contributions**
  • Take full ownership of the DACH region, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation through to successful closing.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify and proactively approach potential clients within the DACH tech sector, spanning seed-stage startups to large public corporations.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the complex compensation-related challenges prevalent in today's tech companies and effectively position Ravio's solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with prospective customers through consistent engagement and insightful dialogue.
  • Partner effectively with Marketing and SDR teams to generate and qualify leads, and collaborate with Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition for new clients.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of sales strategies and processes within your territory.
  • Provide crucial market insights and collaborate with the Product team to enhance Ravio's data products and compensation management tools.
  • Embrace a high-volume, high-velocity sales environment while maintaining meticulous oversight of your pipeline and individual deals.
  • Demonstrate a strong bias for action and a high sense of ownership for your territory's success.
  • Utilize excellent communication and active listening skills to understand customer needs and build trust.
  • This is more than just a sales role; it's an opportunity to shape the future of compensation management in a rapidly growing, innovative company. You will be empowered to make a significant impact, drive strategic initiatives, and grow your career alongside Ravio's global expansion.

🎯 Requirements

  • Fluent German speaking and excellent English communication skills.
  • Proven B2B SaaS sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quota, OR significant experience in a related field such as HR, recruiting, or customer success with a strong desire to move into sales.
  • High sense of ownership, a proactive bias for action, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong active listening, empathy, and the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders from HR leaders to C-suite executives.
  • Experience or strong interest in the HR Tech or compensation space is a plus.
