- • Socure is at the forefront of building the essential identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy, dedicated to verifying 100% of good identities in real-time and proactively preventing fraud before it occurs. Our mission is ambitious, the challenges we tackle are complex, and the impact of our work is profound, benefiting businesses, governments, and millions of individuals daily.
- • We seek individuals who embrace a high level of responsibility, thrive in dynamic environments, think critically, act with ownership, and are deeply committed to solving customer problems with exceptional precision. This role is not suited for those seeking predictability or a narrowly defined scope; instead, it's for those eager to help shape the future of identity alongside a team that upholds rigorous standards.
- • As an Account Executive Director, Public Sector (Federal), you will be a pivotal member of our Public Sector team, reporting directly to the Head of Public Sector Sales. Your primary focus will be driving new business revenue growth within our Federal Practice, leveraging both direct sales pursuits and strategic partnerships.
- • This role demands a results-oriented approach and an entrepreneurial spirit to deliver significant value to Federal customers and technology partners, thereby fueling business expansion.
- • You will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships within large Federal Agencies, understanding their unique procurement processes, buying criteria, and current market trends.
- • A key aspect of this role involves developing a robust pipeline of opportunities by engaging with new and existing federal agencies, employing a relationship-focused sales methodology.
- • You will manage the entire sales lifecycle, from initial account penetration and strategic pursuit planning to complex negotiations and closing deals.
- • A critical responsibility is to define compelling "why Socure" win themes that resonate with the specific needs and priorities of federal agencies.
- • This position requires deep collaboration skills to foster valuable, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- • You will need to thoroughly understand how Socure's innovative products align with the target federal business priorities, enabling you to effectively and independently articulate and deliver our value proposition.
- • The goal is to become a trusted advisor and establish solid, enduring relationships with prospects and clients within the federal landscape.
- • You will be expected to consistently achieve and exceed sales quotas through strategic account management and new business development.
- • This role involves navigating multi-stakeholder sales environments at the executive Federal level, requiring exceptional political acumen and communication skills.
- • You will be instrumental in managing all facets of the sales process, including identifying opportunities, developing pursuit strategies, and finalizing contracts.
- • A significant part of your success will depend on your ability to partner effectively with Alliances/Channels, working collaboratively with partners to craft and sell integrated solutions.
- • Experience in areas such as fraud detection, risk management, identity verification, cybersecurity, complex data analytics, or big data solutions will be highly advantageous, as these are core to Socure's offerings and the challenges faced by federal agencies.
- • You will leverage your excellent negotiation and leadership skills to drive deals to successful closure.
- • Proficiency with Salesforce for CRM and sales pipeline management is essential.
- • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is considered a strong plus, indicating adaptability and a proactive approach.
- • This role requires a Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) as a foundational educational requirement.
- • You will be expected to live within commuting distance to Washington, DC, to facilitate engagement with key federal stakeholders and partners.
- • Socure is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, valuing all forms of diversity. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
- • We encourage individuals needing accommodation during the application or hiring process to reach out directly to their Socure recruiting partner for support.
