  • • Cordance is seeking a driven Account Executive to join its EdTech Division, playing a pivotal role in accelerating new business acquisition for its portfolio of education-focused SaaS companies. This role is crucial for expanding Cordance's reach within the education sector, partnering with K–12 districts, higher education institutions, credentialing bodies, and academic programs of all sizes, from small schools to large, complex university systems. The Account Executive will be instrumental in driving growth and realizing the full potential of these educational technology solutions.
  • • As an Account Executive, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the entire sales cycle, with a strong emphasis on consultative selling, value-based discovery, ROI articulation, and stakeholder alignment. You will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and converting new logo opportunities across the K–12, Higher Ed, and Continuing Education segments. This involves developing sophisticated prospecting strategies informed by market insights into Student Information Systems (SIS), academic workflow pain points, and institutional priorities. You will execute targeted outbound campaigns, engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders including administrators, IT leaders, academic departments, and procurement teams. A key part of the role involves managing the full-cycle SaaS sales process from initial qualification through to contracting. You will lead tailored product demonstrations for academic committees, IT groups, and operational leaders, showcasing how Cordance's solutions address specific educational challenges. Deep discovery into issues such as accreditation, student lifecycle workflows, compliance, scheduling, or credentialing will be essential. You will be tasked with building ROI-driven value propositions that are meticulously aligned with institutional outcomes. Applying MEDDPICC rigor will be critical for improving qualification, deal progression, and forecast accuracy. Maintaining accurate data and documentation within HubSpot is a core operational requirement. You will present compelling business cases to academic councils and executive sponsors, effectively communicating the value proposition. Collaboration with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to refine targeting across education segments will be ongoing. You will also partner with the Marketing team to shape vertical campaigns and content, ensuring alignment with sales efforts. Ensuring a seamless handoff to the Customer Success team for onboarding and adoption is vital for long-term client satisfaction. Navigating complex procurement processes, RFPs, and contracting will be a regular part of the role, requiring an understanding of institutional fiscal cycles and decision milestones.
