- • Own and aggressively grow a portfolio of 25–40 strategic enterprise accounts across Illinois and Indiana, acting as the single-threaded owner of the full revenue lifecycle—from first conversation through seven-figure renewals and multi-year expansions.
- • Design and execute data-driven territory plans that map Rapid7’s cloud-native exposure-management platform to each prospect’s top business risks; translate technical vulnerabilities into board-level ROI narratives that accelerate budget approval and shorten sales cycles.
- • Develop deep, multi-threaded relationships with CIOs, CISOs, VP Engineering, and line-of-business owners, running quarterly executive briefings that position Rapid7 as a trusted security innovation partner rather than a vendor.
- • Run complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles (average 9–18 months, ACV $250K–$2M+) by orchestrating cross-functional teams of Sales Engineers, Threat Researchers, Customer Success Directors, and Channel Partners; build mutual action plans that eliminate buyer friction and compress procurement timelines.
- • Leverage Rapid7’s threat-intel telemetry and breach analytics to craft bespoke business cases, TCO models, and risk-mitigation roadmaps that differentiate our platform from CrowdStrike, Tenable, and Qualys during competitive bake-offs.
- • Co-sell with top-tier channel partners (Optiv, WWT, CDW) to penetrate net-new logos and expand whitespace within existing accounts; negotiate joint business plans and co-marketing funds that generate 30%+ of annual pipeline.
- • Maintain surgical CRM hygiene in Salesforce, Clari, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator—ensuring every account plan, MEDDPICC stage, and next step is visible to leadership in real time; deliver forecast accuracy within 5% every quarter.
- • Serve as the voice of the customer back to Product and Engineering, feeding real-world use cases that influence roadmap prioritization and accelerate feature adoption across your install base.
- • Travel up to 50% across the Midwest to run on-site workshops, purple-team demos, and executive roundtables; occasionally support regional marketing events and SANS conference booths to amplify Rapid7 thought leadership.
- • Champion Rapid7’s mission of creating a more secure digital future by mentoring new Account Executives and sharing best-practice playbooks that elevate the entire Enterprise sales organization.
