  • • Deel is at the forefront of revolutionizing the global work landscape, and we are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our Expansion team, focusing on the Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) segment within the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This pivotal role is designed for a sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and possesses a deep understanding of B2B sales cycles, particularly within the SaaS industry. As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving Deel's revenue growth by acquiring new customers and nurturing relationships within your designated territory, ultimately contributing to our mission of unlocking global opportunity for every person, team, and business.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to manage a dedicated portfolio of prospective and existing SMB accounts across the APAC region. This involves meticulously identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, as well as uncovering avenues for expansion within current client relationships. You will be the primary point of contact, building robust connections with key stakeholders, understanding their unique challenges related to global hiring, payroll, and compliance, and positioning Deel as the indispensable solution.
  • • The role demands a proactive approach to leading the entire sales process. This encompasses everything from initial prospecting and in-depth discovery calls to persuasive presentations, skillful negotiation, and ultimately, closing deals. You will be expected to articulate Deel's comprehensive value proposition with clarity and conviction, demonstrating how our all-in-one payroll and HR platform can streamline operations, ensure compliance, and empower businesses to scale efficiently across borders. This includes showcasing our AI-powered tools, global payroll infrastructure, and our ability to support diverse worker types in over 150 countries.
  • • Maintaining a consistently active and healthy sales pipeline is crucial for success in this role. You will achieve this through a combination of strategic outbound outreach, effective management of inbound leads generated by our marketing efforts, and continuous, engaging client interaction. Building and nurturing these relationships will be key to identifying future opportunities and ensuring client retention.
  • • Collaboration is at the heart of Deel's success. You will work closely with a variety of internal teams, including Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who will support your prospecting efforts, Customer Success Managers who ensure client satisfaction post-sale, Product teams who provide insights into our platform's capabilities, Marketing teams who generate leads and brand awareness, Sales Operations who provide crucial support and tools, and the Legal team who assist with contract intricacies. This cross-functional teamwork is essential to providing a seamless and exceptional experience for our clients.
  • • Accurate forecasting and diligent CRM management are non-negotiable. You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date and precise records of all account details, sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline progression within our CRM system. This data integrity is vital for effective sales strategy, resource allocation, and business planning.
  • • Ultimately, your performance will be measured by your ability to consistently meet or exceed ambitious monthly and yearly revenue targets. This requires a relentless focus on driving sales outcomes and contributing directly to Deel's impressive growth trajectory.
  • • Beyond closing deals, you will act as a crucial feedback loop for the company. By engaging directly with customers and observing market dynamics, you will provide invaluable insights on customer needs, emerging market trends, and potential product enhancements to our internal stakeholders.
