  • • As an Account Executive in Alan’s Retail Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s presence in France’s retail sector by engaging with HR executives, CEOs, and decision-makers in food distribution, fashion, e-commerce, luxury, and bricolage companies. You will help transform how employers view health benefits—from a cost center to a strategic investment—by selling Alan’s vertically integrated health partner model that unites insurance and smart healthcare delivery.
  • • You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, managing deals with companies ranging from 20 to 600 employees and an average ARR of €150K, with a typical 6-month sales cycle. This includes identifying and qualifying leads, conducting discovery calls, delivering tailored product demos using the Alan Smart & Soft selling method, negotiating contracts, and ensuring smooth onboarding by aligning key stakeholders.
  • • You will apply Alan’s proprietary Smart & Soft selling methodology—being instructive (Smart) by educating prospects on value and ROI, and empathetic and personalized (Soft) by adapting your approach to each prospect’s unique needs, ensuring a delightful experience that reflects Alan’s member-centric ethos.
  • • You will collaborate closely with a passionate, 10-person Retail team that has deep sector expertise in food distribution, fashion, e-commerce, luxury, and bricolage, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and field-driven insights that refine product and go-to-market strategy.
  • • You will actively contribute to Alan’s growth by providing feedback to improve products, sales methods, and company strategy, and may participate in initiatives to expand the customer base, helping the company scale from its current €30M ARR toward even greater milestones.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum 4 years of experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with proven success in B2B sales.
  • • Strong interest and ability to engage with prospects in traditional retail sectors such as food distribution, fashion, e-commerce, luxury, or bricolage.
  • • Full professional proficiency in French (C2 level or higher) and advanced English (minimum C1).
  • • Exceptional organizational skills and consistent follow-up habits to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • • Demonstrated empathy, active listening, and a genuine passion for understanding and solving customer challenges.
  • • Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building across HR, finance, and executive stakeholders.
  • • Solid understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue (SaaS/subscription) business models.
  • • Collaborative mindset with a positive attitude, thriving in small, high-impact teams.
  • • Eagerness to learn quickly, take initiative, and make a meaningful impact from day one.
  • • Based in or willing to relocate to Paris, France.
