- • Own the entire sales cycle for the Retail segment, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals with companies ranging from 20 to 600 employees, with an average ARR of €150K and a sales cycle of approximately 6 months.
- • Engage directly with HR executives, CEOs, and decision-makers in the Retail sector, specifically targeting food distribution networks and fashion sellers who constitute 75% of the target market.
- • Execute the Alan Smart & Soft selling method, combining instructive, value-based education of prospects with personalized, high-touch relationship strategies to ensure a seamless and delightful customer experience.
- • Conduct product demonstrations tailored to the unique needs of Retail businesses, highlighting how Alan’s integrated insurance, prevention, and care model addresses digitization, hiring, and brand awareness challenges in the sector.
- • Build and maintain strong pipelines through proactive prospecting, leveraging research and field insights to identify qualified opportunities within the Retail vertical.
- • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers, supporting the transition from prospect to active Alan client and enhancing retention through initial stakeholder engagement.
- • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of sales strategies, product offerings, and customer acquisition methods by sharing field feedback and challenging assumptions to drive innovation.
- • Work within a 10-person Retail Sales team focused on sectors including food distribution, fashion, e-commerce, luxury, and bricolage, leveraging collective knowledge and field learnings to refine targeting and messaging.
- • Operate with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining rigorous organization and follow-up discipline to manage multiple concurrent deals and complex stakeholder dynamics.
- • Apply deep understanding of recurring revenue business models to articulate long-term value and ROI to prospects, aligning Alan’s solution with their operational and financial objectives.
- • Represent Alan as a trusted advisor, demonstrating empathy and a problem-solving mindset to uncover and address underlying pain points in retail workforce health and benefits management.
- • Contribute to company growth by participating in initiatives aimed at expanding customer base, refining sales playbooks, and enhancing market positioning within the French Retail industry.
- • Maintain full working proficiency in French (C2 and above) and advanced English to effectively communicate with prospects, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- • Be based in or willing to relocate to Paris to operate from the company’s HQ and participate in in-person collaboration and field activities.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 4 years of experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- • Full working proficiency in French (C2 and above) and advanced level in English
- • Proven experience selling to Retail segment clients, including food distribution and fashion industries
- • Strong organizational skills and exceptional follow-up discipline
- • Deep understanding of recurring revenue business models
- • Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building
