Account Executive, Great Lakes

📋 Description

• • Drive transformational impact in K-12 education by owning the full sales cycle for Edia’s AI-powered solutions across the Great Lakes region. You will be the face of Edia to superintendents, curriculum directors, and CFOs in districts serving 10,000–100,000+ students, translating complex district pain points into clear ROI and student-outcome gains.
• • Own and exceed a quarterly revenue quota of $250K in closed-won ARR while simultaneously building a $900K pipeline. You will source, qualify, and close both net-new logos and strategic expansions within our existing 150-district customer base, including marquee districts such as New York City, Miami-Dade, and Denver Public Schools.
• • Run a disciplined, high-velocity prospecting engine that produces a minimum of 2 net-new discovery meetings and 5 total customer meetings every week. You will multi-thread across curriculum, technology, finance, and executive teams, mapping power bases and crafting hyper-personalized outreach that speaks to chronic absenteeism, unfinished learning in math, and MTSS compliance pressures.
• • Manage a living, breathing pipeline of 10–20 active opportunities at any given time in Salesforce + Clari. You will rigorously inspect deal health, forecast with 90 %+ accuracy, and coach internal champions to build airtight business cases that withstand board-level scrutiny and lengthy procurement cycles.
• • Travel up to 50 % across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin to run on-site discovery workshops, product demos, and contract negotiations. Field days will include classroom walk-throughs, cabinet-level presentations, and evening school-board pitches—always closing with a signed MSA and expansion roadmap.
• • Collaborate daily with Solutions Engineers, Customer Success, and Product to translate real-time district feedback into roadmap priorities. You will serve as the voice of the customer in sprint reviews, ensuring our AI models and UX continue to deliver measurable gains in math proficiency and daily attendance.
• • Experiment relentlessly. Whether piloting new vertical messaging for rural districts, testing AI-generated call scripts, or co-hosting webinars with state administrators, you will iterate fast and share winning plays across the national sales pod.
• • Champion Edia’s mission externally and internally. From LinkedIn thought leadership to internal lunch-and-learns, you will evangelize data-driven equity in education and inspire teammates with stories of students whose trajectories were changed by our platform.
