  • • This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, consultative, and solutions-oriented sales environment. You will operate as a go-to-market consultant, embodying a product-centric mindset rather than simply being a product vendor. Your primary responsibility will be to deeply understand a prospect's existing go-to-market (GTM) motion, identify their unique challenges and opportunities, and articulate how Clay can unlock their potential. Every engagement represents a net-new customer's first encounter with Clay, demanding a high-velocity yet deeply consultative approach.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation to closing net-new business. You will meticulously prospect into target accounts, proactively build a robust sales pipeline, and effectively manage inbound leads. A key aspect of your role will involve conducting tailored product evaluations and delivering compelling demos that directly address a prospect's specific workflows and pain points, demonstrating the tangible value Clay provides.
  • • You will lead in-depth, consultative discovery sessions designed to illuminate the possibilities that Clay offers, helping prospects envision new and more effective GTM strategies. Furthermore, you will be responsible for constructing persuasive business cases that secure budget approvals and cultivate internal champions within prospect organizations. This requires a keen understanding of business objectives and the ability to translate technical capabilities into strategic advantages.
  • • Collaboration is central to success at Clay. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, services, and customer success, to refine solutions, gather market feedback, and ensure you remain at the cutting edge of Clay's evolving capabilities. This collaborative environment fosters continuous learning and allows you to contribute to the product's direction.
  • • As Clay continues its rapid scaling, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales organization. This includes contributing to the development of our sales playbook, refining sales processes, and actively participating in building a strong and innovative sales culture.
