- • In this role, you will operate as a go-to-market consultant, embodying a product-oriented mindset as an Account Executive. Your responsibilities extend beyond simply selling Clay; you will delve into understanding a prospect's existing GTM mechanics and artfully demonstrate the transformative potential of Clay. Each engagement represents a unique opportunity for a new customer to discover Clay for the first time. Our sales motion is characterized by high velocity combined with a consultative depth. We operate with speed while also ensuring a thorough understanding of client needs. This position is dynamic, designed to evolve significantly over time, reflecting our commitment to continuous improvement and growth. - • Your core responsibilities will include owning and successfully closing net-new business from inception to completion. This involves proactively prospecting into target accounts to build a robust pipeline, while also effectively managing incoming leads. You will conduct highly customized product evaluations and demonstrations, meticulously aligning Clay's advanced capabilities with a prospect's specific operational workflows and critical pain points. A key aspect of your role will be leading in-depth consultative discovery sessions, designed to illuminate the vast possibilities that Clay unlocks for clients. You will be instrumental in constructing compelling business cases that secure necessary budget approvals and cultivate internal champions within prospect organizations.
- • Collaboration will be paramount as you work closely with our product, engineering, services, and customer success teams. This cross-functional engagement ensures that you remain at the cutting edge of Clay's capabilities and contribute to shaping innovative solutions. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in developing our sales playbook, refining existing processes, and actively contributing to the cultivation of our sales culture as we scale.
