- • Join a high-performing team at the forefront of global streaming measurement as a Sales Account Executive II. This role is uniquely focused on 'hunting within the farm,' meaning you will drive new revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities within untapped business units, divisions, and subsidiaries of our most important strategic accounts.
- • As a key consultative partner in major enterprise engagements, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to strategically elevate the value and application of Nielsen's products and services, driving wider adoption and deeper client integration.
- • The ideal candidate is not afraid of navigating complex, matrixed organizations. Your primary mission is to be a proactive 'growth detective,' independently translating deep account intelligence into a robust sales pipeline.
- • You will be responsible for discovering, qualifying, and executing new revenue opportunities within untapped divisions and departments of our existing key accounts. This involves meticulously mapping out these business units, researching key contacts, and conducting initial outreach to establish our presence and identify potential needs.
- • This role is pivotal in building the critical pipeline and intelligence that leads to major new engagements, offering the opportunity to own the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal.
- • **Account Research and Mapping:**
- • Conduct in-depth research, mapping, and tracking of new business units, key contacts, and leadership changes within target accounts. Utilize tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and our CRM system to identify potential needs, organizational structures, and strategic opportunities.
- • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client's business, challenges, and objectives to tailor our value proposition effectively.
- • **Consultative Lead Generation and Sales Cycle Ownership:**
- • Generate new leads through personalized, value-driven outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other channels, aiming to secure initial discovery calls.
- • Prepare for and lead high-level, consultative discovery calls and client presentations. This requires compiling relevant research and customizing presentations to address specific client pain points and opportunities.
- • Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying leads to negotiating and closing new business agreements.
- • Diligently track all activities, contacts, and opportunities within the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date pipeline management.
- • **Internal Coordination and Collaboration:**
- • Partner closely with the marketing team to align on outreach messaging, campaign strategies, and collateral development, ensuring a cohesive approach to account engagement.
- • Navigate our internal organization effectively to coordinate resources, engage subject matter experts, and ensure seamless collaboration across Nielsen teams.
- • Provide regular, insightful reports to the account team on findings, outreach activities, generated leads, and pipeline progression.
- • **Sales Support and Enablement:**
- • Gain a firsthand understanding of Nielsen's product and service use cases by engaging directly with cross-functional Nielsen teams and client stakeholders.
