  • • Own and grow a dynamic book of commercial clients as the day-to-day strategic partner and primary point of contact, orchestrating every touchpoint from onboarding through renewal and cross-sell opportunities.
  • • Collaborate hand-in-hand with Producers to craft and execute multi-year client strategies, attending joint meetings, uncovering emerging risks, and positioning Insbrk as the indispensable risk advisor that clients cannot imagine doing business without.
  • • Drive the renewal lifecycle 90–120 days in advance, quarterbacking the collection of loss runs, exposure schedules, and carrier applications while partnering with Marketing to secure optimal terms, pricing, and capacity from both admitted and surplus-lines markets.
  • • Deliver polished renewal and new-business proposals at least 21 days prior to expiration, translating complex coverage nuances into clear, decision-ready narratives that resonate with CFOs, risk managers, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • • Conduct quarterly stewardship calls and on-site visits that deepen relationships, surface hidden exposures, and tee up cross-sell conversations—whether that’s cyber, management liability, or international programs—resulting in measurable revenue lift and retention above 95%.
  • • Produce annual Insurance Coverage Reviews (ICRs) for every account generating $25K+ in revenue, benchmarking limits, retentions, and pricing against industry peers and providing actionable recommendations that reduce total cost of risk.
  • • Build and maintain meticulous client service plans inside AMS360, documenting coverage gaps, carrier service standards, and agreed-upon action items so that Account Assistants and Claims Advocates can execute flawlessly in your absence.
  • • Serve as the escalation quarterback for complex service issues—coverage disputes, mid-term audits, or claim denials—leveraging carrier relationships and internal resources to deliver rapid resolution that preserves client trust.
  • • Champion data integrity by ensuring every policy, endorsement, and renewal is accurately reflected in the management system, enabling real-time dashboards that inform executive decision-making and E&O risk mitigation.
  • • Mentor junior account staff by modeling best-in-class client communication, technical acumen, and project management, cultivating the next generation of Insbrk leaders while freeing yourself to focus on the highest-value strategic work.
  • • Contribute to practice-area initiatives such as industry roundtables, carrier summits, and product-development sprints, sharing market intel and client feedback that shapes proprietary coverage forms and service enhancements.
  • • Represent Insbrk at local and national industry events, positioning yourself as a thought leader and expanding the firm’s referral network among attorneys, CPAs, bankers, and private-equity sponsors.
  • • Uphold our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments by guiding clients toward sustainable risk-financing alternatives—parametric covers, green-building endorsements, and diversity-supplier programs—that align with their corporate values.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Active Colorado Property & Casualty insurance broker license (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • • Minimum 5 years of commercial lines account management or underwriting experience with demonstrated ownership of client relationships exceeding $1M in annual premium.
  • • Advanced proficiency in AMS360 or comparable agency management system; high comfort level with MS Office, particularly Excel for loss-ratio analytics and PowerPoint for executive presentations.
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent professional designations (CIC, CRM, CPCU) viewed favorably.
