Cordance is dedicated to accelerating the growth of these companies through acquisition and expert guidance, and your success will directly contribute to realizing their full potential and building a lasting legacy.
- • In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for identifying and targeting new logo opportunities across key industrial sectors. This involves leveraging your deep understanding of the industrial landscape to pinpoint pain points related to operational efficiency, compliance, maintenance, workforce training, and safety workflows. You will execute targeted outbound strategies, engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders including operations leaders, plant managers, safety directors, engineering teams, and IT professionals. Your day-to-day will involve owning the complete sales cycle, from initial qualification through to closing deals. This includes conducting thorough discovery sessions to assess process gaps, worksite challenges, and performance benchmarks. You will be adept at delivering compelling product demonstrations that clearly articulate the value proposition of our SaaS solutions, emphasizing improvements in operational efficiency, automation, asset visibility, and compliance reporting. A key aspect of your role will be developing ROI-based proposals that quantify tangible benefits such as time and efficiency gains, risk reduction, and safety improvements. You will apply structured sales methodologies, specifically MEDDPICC, to ensure rigorous qualification and accurate forecasting, while maintaining impeccable CRM hygiene in HubSpot. Furthermore, you will run structured, repeatable sales motions aligned with the unique buyer journeys within the industrial sector, collaborating closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to optimize outreach efforts. You will also partner with the Marketing team to refine industrial messaging, develop impactful case studies, and contribute to targeted campaigns. Seamless collaboration with Customer Success is essential for setting accurate expectations and ensuring smooth project transitions post-sale. Navigating complex, multi-departmental industrial buying groups, involving operations, procurement, safety, and IT, will be a regular part of your responsibilities, as will aligning contract terms with operational priorities and budget cycles.
- • You will be joining Cordance, a company committed to the growth and success of vertically focused B2B SaaS companies. We are a team of experienced operators and subject-matter experts passionate about software and business building. Our mission is to partner with founders, scale their businesses, and unlock their full potential by building on existing strengths. We believe in elevating companies as they grow, fostering dignity for the organization and its employees, and sharing a collective passion for building enduring legacies.
- • This role offers a significant opportunity for professional growth and development. You will hone your consultative selling skills, deepen your expertise in the industrial SaaS market, and master advanced sales methodologies like MEDDPICC. You will gain invaluable experience in navigating complex enterprise sales cycles and building strong relationships with key decision-makers across various industrial functions. Success in this role will not only lead to exceeding sales targets but also to becoming a trusted advisor to clients and a key contributor to Cordance's strategic growth initiatives, offering a clear path for career advancement within a supportive and dynamic environment.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to own full-cycle SaaS sales in the mid-market segment, consistently achieving or exceeding quota by balancing disciplined process with creative deal strategy to accelerate new logo growth. You will be fluent in value-based discovery and business outcome alignment, applying MEDDPICC rigor to qualify opportunities and advance deals efficiently. Building credibility and trust across multiple stakeholder levels, from functional leaders to executive sponsors, by acting as a strategic partner focused on business outcomes is paramount. You will be an expert in crafting win-win deal structures that drive ARR growth while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction, demonstrating operational discipline through accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and CRM data hygiene, and prioritizing deals based on impact potential and alignment with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Effective collaboration with SDRs, Sales Leadership, and Marketing to execute go-to-market strategies and ensure seamless transitions into post-sale success is expected, alongside demonstrating persistence, adaptability, and focus in a high-growth, evolving environment, embodying ownership, urgency, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to applying your vertical knowledge to identify critical pain points within industrial operations, such as downtime, compliance issues, maintenance challenges, workforce training gaps, or safety workflow inefficiencies. You will be instrumental in executing outbound strategies specifically targeting operations, engineering, safety, and technology leaders within these industries. You will excel at delivering impactful product demonstrations that clearly showcase how our software enhances operational efficiency, enables automation, improves asset visibility, and strengthens compliance reporting. Conducting deep discovery sessions to thoroughly assess process gaps, identify worksite challenges, and establish performance benchmarks will be a critical part of your process. Developing persuasive, ROI-based proposals that quantify the economic benefits of our solutions, such as significant time and efficiency gains, substantial risk reduction, or measurable safety improvements, will be key to your success. You will leverage the MEDDPICC framework for robust qualification and forecasting, ensuring pipeline accuracy and predictability. Maintaining exceptional CRM hygiene within HubSpot is essential for tracking progress and managing your sales activities effectively. You will be expected to run structured and repeatable sales motions that are precisely aligned with the distinct buyer journeys prevalent in the industrial sector. Close collaboration with SDRs will be vital for optimizing outreach efforts and generating qualified leads. Partnering with the Marketing team to refine industrial messaging, create compelling case studies, and contribute to effective campaigns will be another important aspect of your role. You will be adept at navigating the complexities of multi-departmental buying groups within industrial organizations, which often include representatives from operations, procurement, safety, and IT.
