  • • Plan and execute strategic and tactical sales capture plans to drive new customer growth in the International Defence market across South-East Europe (Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Turkey) while ensuring consistent achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • • Build and maintain long-term customer partnerships with senior leaders in the military and defence sectors, cultivating a network of key influencers and decision-makers to generate sustained demand for Dataminr’s AI-powered real-time alerting products.
  • • Develop a deep understanding of customer use cases, internal decision-making processes, and budget cycles unique to the defence and public sector to effectively position Dataminr’s technology solutions.
  • • Provide thought leadership by articulating clear value propositions for Dataminr’s platform through customer conversations, presentations, and written proposals, demonstrating how real-time event detection integrates into client workflows.
  • • Act as a sector subject matter expert, advising on strategic and tactical sales recommendations based on competitive activity, market trends, and technological innovations in AI-driven intelligence for defence applications.
  • • Accurately forecast sales performance on a quarterly basis, using data-driven insights to guide pipeline development and resource allocation.
  • • Prospect and identify multiple high-value use cases for Dataminr’s AI platform, leveraging expertise in open source information and real-time data analytics to address defence and security challenges.
  • • Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles by influencing all key stakeholders—including end users, technical evaluators, procurement teams, and budget decision-makers—within military and government organisations.
  • • Maintain compliance with necessary security clearance requirements to operate effectively within the international defence client base, ensuring adherence to sensitive information protocols.
  • • Contribute to market expansion by breaking into new territories within South-East Europe, establishing Dataminr as a trusted provider of AI-powered early warning systems for defence and national security.
  • • Leverage knowledge of Dataminr’s proprietary technologies—including Regenerative AI (ReGenAI), Agentic AI (Intel Agents), and Multimodal AI that processes text, images, video, audio, and sensor data across 150+ languages—to articulate product differentiators in client engagements.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless handoffs and alignment on customer outcomes.
  • • Stay informed on evolving global threats and defence priorities to tailor sales strategies and product demonstrations to regional geopolitical contexts.
  • • Represent Dataminr at industry events and through strategic outreach initiatives to enhance brand visibility and credibility within the international defence community.
  • • Utilise a consultative sales approach grounded in client pain points, emphasizing how Dataminr’s platform delivers actionable intelligence faster than traditional methods to enhance situational awareness and operational response.
  • • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor offerings in the defence tech space and consistently position Dataminr’s technology as superior in speed, accuracy, and multimodal data fusion capabilities.
  • • Champion Dataminr’s mission to use AI for the greater good by aligning sales efforts with the company’s commitment to keeping organizations running and people safe during critical events.
