  • • As an Account Executive for Lab (Bilingual) at Vision Service Plan (VSP), you will be the primary driver of sales growth and customer satisfaction within the private practice optical sector in Florida. This pivotal role involves managing and nurturing existing client relationships while actively seeking out and developing new business opportunities across a defined territory, specifically encompassing Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
  • • Your core responsibility will be to strategically sell and service VSP Optics' branded products and services. This requires a deep understanding of our comprehensive lab services, innovative product lines, and effective marketing strategies. You will be instrumental in increasing the utilization of our offerings among eye care professionals (doctors) within your territory.
  • • A key aspect of this role is the formulation and implementation of tailored strategic business plans for each individual account. These plans will be designed to not only retain existing business but also to educate and guide accounts in adopting and maximizing the benefits of our premium lens products, thereby enhancing their own service offerings and patient outcomes.
  • • You will be tasked with cultivating and fostering robust, long-term business relationships with doctors and their dedicated staff. This involves consistent communication, understanding their unique challenges, and positioning VSP as a trusted partner in their practice's success.
  • • A significant part of your role will be to act as an educator, informing customers about the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and new lens products. This knowledge transfer will empower them to make informed business decisions that align with market advancements and patient needs.
  • • Maintaining a current and comprehensive working knowledge of all existing and new products, services, and related industry information is crucial. This ensures that you can provide accurate, up-to-date information and expert advice to all clients and prospects.
  • • You will serve as a critical liaison between the VSP Lab and our customers, ensuring that service levels consistently meet and exceed expectations. Proactive problem-solving and effective communication will be key to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • • Collaboration is essential. You will work closely with the marketing and product development teams to relay customer feedback, identify unmet needs, and contribute to the analysis of market data. This feedback loop is vital for driving product innovation and refining our go-to-market strategies.
  • • Meticulous documentation of all sales activities and diligent monitoring of account growth within your defined territory are required. This data will inform your strategic planning and performance evaluation.
  • • You will develop and deliver compelling presentations to doctors' staff, ranging from small, intimate sessions to larger-scale events. These presentations should effectively communicate the value proposition of VSP's lab services and products.
  • • This role demands a significant amount of travel, exceeding 50% of your time, to meet with clients, prospects, and attend industry events within your Florida territory.
  • • The ideal candidate will reside within the designated territory (Miami and Fort Lauderdale) to ensure optimal market coverage and responsiveness.
  • • You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets, demonstrating a strong track record of success in managing major account responsibilities.
  • • As a bilingual professional (Spanish/English), you will be uniquely positioned to engage with a broader segment of the Florida market, opening up additional opportunities and enhancing client relationships.
