- • Serve as a Senior Account Executive responsible for client retention and growth through contract expansion and introduction of new Gartner products and services.
- • Consult directly with C-level executives to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies that maximize the value of Gartner’s research, advisory, and technology solutions.
- • Manage a territory of major enterprise client accounts with a quota responsibility of $800,000+ in contract value.
- • Execute Gartner’s proprietary sales methodology consistently and with high fidelity to drive predictable revenue outcomes.
- • Develop and maintain comprehensive account plans and territory strategies to identify growth opportunities and mitigate churn risks.
- • Ensure accurate and timely forecast reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to support sales leadership and business planning.
- • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Gartner’s full portfolio of products and services, including AI advisory, IT research, and benchmarking tools.
- • Stay current on competitive landscape dynamics and leverage insights to position Gartner’s offerings effectively against alternatives.
- • Build and sustain trusted, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers across large enterprise organizations.
- • Demonstrate strong computer proficiency and advanced presentation skills to deliver compelling value propositions and executive-level briefings.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Gartner analysts, client success teams, and marketing to deliver integrated client solutions.
- • Operate in a field-based, remote capacity with occasional travel required for client meetings and internal events.
- • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture that prioritizes diversity, inclusion, and high performance.
- • Leverage Gartner’s market-leading AI expertise and resources to guide clients through their digital transformation and AI adoption journeys.
- • Drive client satisfaction outcomes that directly impact retention rates and account expansion metrics.
- • Participate in ongoing professional development programs to enhance sales acumen, industry knowledge, and leadership capabilities.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8-15 years of proven consultative sales experience, preferably in high technology (software, services, or consultative environment)
- • Demonstrated success in closing enterprise-level deals and achieving or exceeding sales quotas
- • Proven ability to build and maintain C-level client relationships within large enterprise organizations
- • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract renewal
- • Excellent computer proficiency and presentation skills
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (desired)
