- • As an Account Executive at Saltz, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how chefs and gastronomy businesses source ingredients by introducing them to a transparent digital marketplace that connects them directly with trusted suppliers and new producers, eliminating layers of distributors and hidden costs.
- • You will own and grow a portfolio of HoReCa accounts across Berlin and beyond, focusing not just on acquisition but on deepening relationships, increasing order frequency, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities through regular kitchen visits and consultative engagement.
- • Your day-to-day will involve visiting restaurants, hotels, and catering businesses to walk kitchens, understand operational challenges, and demonstrate how Saltz solves real pain points in pricing transparency, supplier discovery, and ordering efficiency.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor to chefs, F&B managers, and procurement teams by listening closely to their needs, translating feedback into platform improvements, and positioning Saltz as an indispensable part of their supply chain strategy.
- • Collaboration is key: you’ll work closely with product, operations, and marketing teams to turn client insights into actionable platform enhancements that drive adoption and satisfaction across the marketplace.
- • Representing Saltz at industry events, trade fairs, supplier showcases, and restaurant openings will be a regular part of your role, leveraging your HoReCa credibility to open doors and strengthen brand presence in the foodservice ecosystem.
- • Success in this role means driving measurable growth in account activity and revenue, helping Saltz scale its mission to connect thousands of suppliers with thousands of chefs across hundreds of cities, and contributing to the digitization of an industry long overdue for innovation.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience selling food products (ingredients, supplies, or beverages) to restaurants, hotels, or other HoReCa clients, with a background in food distribution, wholesale, or supply chain sales.
- • Deep understanding of food pricing, margins, and chef-driven purchasing decisions, enabling confident conversations about specs, costs, and value without being caught off guard by technical details.
- • Demonstrated track record of growing existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and relationship expansion — not just closing new deals.
- • Fluency in German (C1 level) and strong English communication skills to engage effectively with local clients and international stakeholders.
- • Comfort managing multiple high-touch, demanding client relationships simultaneously while maintaining organization, follow-through, and consistent account growth.

- • Competitive base salary: EUR 46,000–58,000 for MID level or EUR 55,000–65,000 for Senior level, plus uncapped commission on top.
