- • As an Account Executive at Saltz, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how chefs and gastronomy businesses source ingredients by connecting them directly with trusted suppliers through a transparent digital marketplace, driving real impact in an industry long overdue for innovation.
- • You will own and grow a portfolio of HoReCa accounts across Frankfurt and beyond, focusing on expanding relationships with chefs, restaurant owners, F&B managers, and procurement teams by understanding their kitchen operations and positioning Saltz as the go-to solution for smarter, more transparent ingredient sourcing.
- • Your day-to-day will involve visiting clients in their kitchens to build trust, identify pain points, and uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities through consultative conversations that demonstrate deep empathy for the chef’s workflow and business needs.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor by consistently delivering value — helping clients discover new products, optimize ordering, and reduce friction — while feeding frontline insights back to product and tech teams to shape the platform’s evolution.
- • Representing Saltz at industry events, trade fairs, and supplier showcases, you will leverage your HoReCa credibility to open doors, strengthen brand presence, and stay at the forefront of culinary innovation.
- • Working within a fast-moving, venture-backed startup that recently secured €20M in Series A funding, you’ll have the autonomy to experiment, the support of experienced leaders, and the satisfaction of seeing your contributions directly influence growth and product direction.
- • This role offers the chance to develop deep expertise in B2B SaaS sales within the food tech space, hone your consultative selling skills, and grow into a strategic account leader who doesn’t just sell — but transforms how an entire industry buys.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience selling food products, ingredients, supplies, or beverages to HoReCa clients (restaurants, hotels, catering) through distribution, wholesale, or food supplier channels
- • Strong understanding of food pricing, margins, and chef-driven purchasing decisions, with the ability to speak credibly about specs, costs, and kitchen operations
- • Demonstrated track record of growing existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and relationship expansion — not just acquiring new logos
- • Fluency in German (C1 level) and proficient English skills to engage clients and collaborate internally
- • Comfort managing multiple high-touch relationships simultaneously while maintaining organization, follow-through, and attention to detail

- • Competitive base salary: EUR 48,000–55,000 for MID level or EUR 55,000–65,000 for Senior level, plus uncapped commission on top
