- • As an Account Executive at Saltz, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how chefs and gastronomy businesses source ingredients by introducing them to a transparent, digital marketplace that connects them directly with trusted suppliers and new producers—driving real change in an industry long burdened by opaque supply chains and hidden costs.
- • You will own and grow a portfolio of HoReCa accounts across Vilnius and beyond, focusing not just on acquisition but on deepening relationships, increasing order frequency, and unlocking upsell and cross-sell opportunities through consultative, kitchen-level engagement.
- • Your day-to-day will involve visiting chefs, restaurant owners, F&B managers, and procurement teams in their kitchens to understand their operational challenges, identify pain points in current sourcing workflows, and demonstrate how Saltz delivers pricing transparency, supplier access, and streamlined ordering—turning feedback into product improvements.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor by building long-term relationships with key decision-makers, positioning yourself as a knowledgeable partner who understands food costs, margins, and chef priorities—leveraging your HoReCa background to speak their language and earn credibility.
- • Collaboration is central: you’ll work closely with product, operations, and marketing teams to translate client insights into platform enhancements, ensuring Saltz evolves to meet real-world needs while representing the brand at trade fairs, supplier showcases, and restaurant openings where your industry presence opens doors.
- • Success in this role means driving measurable growth in account activity and revenue, helping Saltz scale its mission to connect thousands of suppliers with thousands of chefs across cities—making your impact visible, immediate, and tied to a €20M-backed vision reshaping global food sourcing.
- • You’ll gain firsthand experience in scaling a high-growth B2B marketplace, learning from founders and operators who built Europe’s leading consumer platforms, while developing advanced skills in consultative sales, account strategy, and hospitality industry dynamics.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience selling food products, ingredients, supplies, or beverages to restaurants, hotels, or other HoReCa clients, with a background in food distribution, wholesale, or supply chain sales.
- • Deep understanding of food pricing, margins, and chef purchasing behavior—able to confidently discuss specs, costs, and value without being confused by technical or culinary terminology.
- • Demonstrated track record of growing existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and relationship expansion—not just acquiring new clients.
- • Strong organizational and relationship management skills, capable of juggling multiple high-touch accounts without dropping the ball on follow-ups or service.
- • Native Lithuanian language proficiency and strong English communication skills; additional European languages are considered a plus.
