At Public Cloud Group (PCG), we empower businesses to modernize, secure, and future-proof their IT infrastructures in the cloud. We are a rapidly expanding team of nearly 500 cloud experts across 21 locations in Europe, and we're looking for talented individuals to join our PCG DACH region.
  • • This role is for you if you're tired of selling mere licenses or "developer hours" and are eager to drive strategic cloud transformations at the C-level. At PCG, we don't just sell individual components; we deliver comprehensive solutions. To fuel our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Account Executive (m/f/d) to significantly scale our Microsoft cloud business.
  • • As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be Strategic Hunting & Big Deals. You will be tasked with acquiring new customers and nurturing them into Enterprise and Key Accounts. Your focus will be on high-value, strategic projects within the Microsoft ecosystem, rather than quick, small-ticket sales.
  • • You will embody the "From Selling to Solving" philosophy. Instead of body leasing, you will champion our scalable "Hero Products," such as AI Landingzones and Security Audits, and strategically integrate them with long-term Managed Cloud Operations (MCO) services. This approach ensures we deliver maximum value and ongoing support to our clients.
  • • You will act as the "Matrix Engine" for cross-selling opportunities. This means you won't operate in isolation within the Microsoft silo. Instead, you will orchestrate complex deals across various business areas, collaborating with our specialists in Security, Data, and Multi-Cloud to ensure clients receive the most comprehensive and valuable solutions.
  • • Achieving Pipeline Excellence is crucial. You will manage your deals with a data-driven approach, leveraging HubSpot not just as a mandatory task, but as your primary steering instrument for precise forecasting and managing close dates, adhering to a "Clean Order Policy."
  • • You will serve as a Trusted Advisor on the C-level. This involves confidently negotiating with IT Directors, CIOs, and CEOs, and building robust, long-term strategic partnerships based on trust and mutual understanding.
  • • Your role will involve understanding client needs deeply, identifying opportunities for PCG's advanced cloud solutions, and articulating the business value and ROI of these solutions to key decision-makers.
  • • You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Pre-Sales Architects, Bid Managers, and Delivery Teams, to ensure seamless execution of client projects and to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • • Staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem, including Azure, M365, and Copilot, will be essential for identifying new opportunities and providing cutting-edge solutions.
  • • You will be instrumental in shaping PCG's strategic direction within the Microsoft cloud market by providing market insights and feedback from your client interactions.
  • • This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of cloud transformation, working with a dynamic and innovative company that is a leader in its field.   • • You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand PCG's footprint within key enterprise accounts.
  • • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities will be a key performance indicator.
  • • You will represent PCG at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, acting as a brand ambassador and thought leader in the cloud space.
  • • The ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into business benefits for clients is paramount.
  • • You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and a continuous learning mindset to keep up with the evolving cloud landscape.
