- • As an Account Executive at Elavon, a leading payment solutions provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Bank, you will be instrumental in developing new business account relationships within the Madison, Wisconsin market. This exciting opportunity focuses on building and nurturing partnerships with a referral bank partner, a key channel for generating warm leads and driving consistent referral production.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and expand our relationship with the bank partner, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads. These bank partners are incentivized to refer clients to you, providing a strong foundation for your sales efforts.
- • You will be responsible for the daily utilization and meticulous updating of Salesforce, our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, to track leads, manage your pipeline, and maintain accurate client information.
- • The role involves developing profitable new business account relationships and increasing profitability from existing accounts by strategically selling Elavon's comprehensive Merchant Services, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express processing, to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
- • You will leverage your understanding of clients, markets, products, and services to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of each prospective client.
- • A significant part of your role will be dedicated to learning and developing expert-level knowledge of Elavon's diverse range of products and services. This deep understanding will enable you to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.
- • You will be tasked with presenting Elavon's offerings to prospective clients, clearly articulating the benefits of our payment solutions and how they can address their specific business challenges and financial goals.
- • A crucial aspect of your success will be implementing and maintaining an effective referral network and a proactive call program designed to promote sales and expand your client base.
- • You will receive comprehensive guidance and training within a remote environment, with a clear focus on achieving daily objectives as set by your manager. This structured support system is designed to equip you for success in your role.
- • While no prior experience with Merchant Services is required, a strong foundation in sales and a genuine willingness to learn and grow with Elavon are essential. This position offers a competitive base salary, an attractive commission plan, and a travel stipend to support your market activities.
- • You will be expected to travel within the market 3-4 days per week, focusing on client engagement and business development. While travel is required, no overnight stays are anticipated.
