  • • Sell Human Interest’s retirement savings platform to small and medium-sized businesses across the Mountain and Pacific time zones through full-cycle sales processes, from initial demo to contract close.
  • • Research and identify prospective clients using prospecting tools to build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline.
  • • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the value of Human Interest’s retirement plan solutions to potential customers.
  • • Negotiate and close contracts with prospects, ensuring alignment with company pricing and compliance standards.
  • • Accurately record and update all sales activities, communications, and pipeline progress in Salesforce.com.
  • • Leverage sales technology tools to optimize workflow, track performance, and improve conversion rates.
  • • Overcome objections by tailoring solutions to customer needs, regardless of their prior knowledge of retirement planning or fintech.
  • • Consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas through disciplined pipeline management and strategic outreach.
  • • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer success post-sale.
  • • Embrace feedback and continuously refine sales techniques based on performance data and coaching.
  • • Maintain a deep understanding of the retirement benefits landscape and articulate how Human Interest solves the retirement gap for American workers.
  • • Operate autonomously while holding yourself accountable to performance metrics and company operating principles.
  • • Demonstrate resilience and resourcefulness in fast-paced, high-velocity sales cycles typical of startup environments.
  • • Advocate for the company’s mission of financial security for all workers, conveying genuine belief in the product’s societal impact.
  • • Maintain compliance with all regional and federal employment regulations when engaging with prospects.
  • • Participate in team-building activities, virtual social events, and quarterly offsites to foster collaboration and company culture.

🎯 Requirements

  • • At least 2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably at a startup
  • • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • • Experience working with high-velocity sales cycles or selling to small businesses
  • • Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms
  • • Must be located in Mountain or Pacific time zone
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and advocate for a product
