  • • Sell Human Interest’s retirement savings platform to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States through full-cycle sales processes, from initial demo to contract close.
  • • Research and identify prospective clients using prospecting tools to build a robust and targeted sales pipeline.
  • • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the value of Human Interest’s retirement plan solutions to potential customers.
  • • Negotiate and close contracts with prospects, ensuring alignment with company pricing, terms, and compliance standards.
  • • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, communications, and pipeline progress in Salesforce.com.
  • • Utilize a variety of sales technology tools to optimize outreach, tracking, and customer engagement throughout the sales cycle.
  • • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas through disciplined pipeline management and consistent execution.
  • • Adapt communication style to effectively explain complex retirement plan concepts to prospects with varying levels of financial literacy.
  • • Respond to objections with a solutions-oriented approach, emphasizing the tangible benefits of offering retirement plans to employees.
  • • Collaborate with internal teams including customer success and product to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction post-sale.
  • • Embrace feedback and continuously refine sales techniques based on performance data and manager input.
  • • Maintain resilience and persistence in high-velocity sales cycles, quickly recovering from rejections and adapting strategies to overcome obstacles.
  • • Demonstrate deep understanding of the fintech and retirement benefits industry, positioning Human Interest as a trusted partner for employers seeking to close the retirement savings gap.
  • • Operate within Pacific and Mountain time zones to align with customer availability and internal team collaboration schedules.
  • • Advocate for customers by delivering a product that directly improves financial security for American workers.
  • • Contribute to a culture of accountability, autonomy, and customer obsession as defined by Human Interest’s core operating principles.

🎯 Requirements

  • • At least 2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably at a startup
  • • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • • Experience working with high-velocity sales cycles or selling to small businesses
  • • Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other CRM platforms
  • • Must be located in the Mountain or Pacific time zone
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and advocate for a product
