- • ScorePlay is seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to spearhead new business growth across Northern Europe, specifically the UK, Nordics (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland), and Benelux regions. This pivotal role is responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from the initial engagement through to the final contract signing, establishing ScorePlay as the premier AI-powered media infrastructure solution for sports organizations. You will be instrumental in driving revenue and expanding ScorePlay's footprint in a dynamic and rapidly evolving market, contributing directly to the company's ambitious growth trajectory and its mission to revolutionize sports media operations.
- • In this consultative SaaS sales position, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a broad range of activities designed to identify, nurture, and close new business opportunities. You will be tasked with building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within sports organizations, including clubs, leagues, and federations. A significant part of your role will involve understanding their unique media management challenges and demonstrating how ScorePlay's innovative platform can transform their workflows, enhance content value, and streamline operations. This includes conducting thorough discovery calls to pinpoint pain points, mapping out the business impact of ScorePlay's solutions, and crafting compelling value propositions. You will also be responsible for delivering tailored product demonstrations and presentations, adapting your approach to resonate with both non-technical executives and technical decision-makers. Furthermore, you will manage the entire deal process, from initial proposal development and negotiation to navigating legal and commercial complexities, ensuring accurate forecasting and diligent CRM management.
- • Beyond direct sales activities, you will play a crucial role in pipeline development and account strategy. This involves proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within small to mid-sized organizations across your designated region, leveraging a multi-channel approach that includes targeted prospecting, cultivating referrals, participating in industry events, and converting inbound leads. You will be expected to qualify and prioritize opportunities effectively, maintaining a robust and predictable sales pipeline. Collaboration is key to success at ScorePlay. You will work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth handovers post-sale, facilitating seamless onboarding and early adoption to foster customer retention and identify expansion opportunities. Your insights from the market will be invaluable to the Product and Engineering teams, helping to shape the future roadmap of the platform. Additionally, you will partner with the Marketing team on regional lead generation initiatives, contributing to the development of case studies and refining event strategies to maximize brand visibility and engagement. Representing ScorePlay at key industry events will be essential for strengthening our presence and credibility throughout Northern Europe.

Essential skills include a consultative approach to sales, encompassing effective discovery techniques, robust business case development, and the ability to present clear, structured recommendations. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities are paramount, as you will be engaging in executive meetings, representing the company at industry events, and nurturing long-term client relationships. Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement, with proficiency in a Nordic or Dutch language being a significant advantage. The role demands a self-motivated and proactive individual who can independently manage multiple opportunities and drive them to successful outcomes. While prior sports industry experience is not a prerequisite, a genuine interest in sports and media technology, coupled with a willingness to learn, will be highly beneficial.
