- • Serve as a full-cycle Account Executive responsible for driving net new business growth in the K-12, Higher Education, and Workforce Development sectors across Ohio.
- • Prospect, qualify, and develop opportunities with new key accounts through strategic outreach and consultative selling techniques tailored to education and government stakeholders.
- • Build compelling, needs-based value propositions that align Transfr’s immersive VR training solutions with customer pain points around workforce skill gaps and training infrastructure misalignment.
- • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving school districts, community colleges, workforce boards, and state agencies with long-term contracting processes.
- • Produce data-driven analyses comparing local job market demands with existing training programs to demonstrate the ROI of Transfr’s immersive learning platform.
- • Collaborate with Marketing to design and execute targeted campaigns, providing direct feedback to optimize lead generation and messaging effectiveness.
- • Manage the entire sales process from initial discovery to contract execution, including post-signature integration, change management, governance, and upsell/renegotiation activities.
- • Treat inbound leads with high priority, adopting a long-term relationship mindset rather than transactional approaches to customer engagement.
- • Develop detailed deal timelines, track milestones, and maintain accurate, up-to-date activity logs in Salesforce CRM.
- • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales lifecycle, owning opportunities end-to-end in a lean, fast-moving team.
- • Identify and cultivate early adopters within target organizations by understanding their organizational dynamics, decision-making hierarchies, and procurement workflows.
- • Gather user insights and feedback from prospects and customers to inform product development and feature prioritization.
- • Travel domestically up to 50% or more to meet with clients, attend education and workforce development events, and represent Transfr at industry conferences and on-site demonstrations.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of EdTech trends, workforce training benchmarks, and emerging technologies such as virtual and augmented reality in learning environments.
- • Advocate for workforce development as a core mission, aligning personal purpose with Transfr’s vision of creating equitable career pathways through innovative skills training.
- • Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, including E-Verify participation and equal employment opportunity standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in net new business SaaS sales
- • Proven track record of exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets
- • Experience selling to K-12 and/or government education institutions
- • Consultative sales experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Google Docs tools
- • Experience with Slack for team collaboration
