- • Own the full B2B SaaS sales cycle for Assort Health’s Patient Payments motion, from discovery and ROI modeling to pilot scoping, procurement, and closing with RCM, billing, and finance leaders at provider groups, MSOs, and health systems.
- • Build and execute named-account plans across Assort’s existing provider group footprint, driving self-sourced pipeline through outbound outreach, tailored messaging, and collaboration with marketing on targeted campaigns.
- • Collaborate with Customer Success, Partnerships, SDRs, and Marketing to identify high-leverage pipeline sources and cross-sell Patient Payments into Assort’s existing customer base.
- • Partner with core Account Executives on shared accounts, owning end-to-end payments discovery, ROI analysis, and pricing negotiations.
- • Lead strategic closes by translating take-rate economics into clear per-account business cases, managing Mutual Action Plans tied to payments-specific procurement and PCI compliance pathways, and maintaining pricing discipline against contracted ARR.
- • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene in Salesforce and use Gong to track activity, forecast weekly with discipline, and build dashboards to monitor pipeline health and sales metrics.
- • Partner directly with Product (led by Vincent) to inform competitive gaps, feature priorities, and pricing strategy based on customer feedback and market dynamics.
- • Work with Solutions Engineering to scope demos, integrations, and PCI compliance requirements for prospective clients.
- • Develop payments-specific objection handling frameworks, ROI collateral, pricing playbooks, and handoff processes with core AEs and managers.
- • Define and track the attach-rate KPI for Patient Payments and establish accountability loops to drive adoption and revenue growth.
- • Document successful processes and failures to accelerate onboarding for the next hire and help build a scalable, high-performing payments sales culture.
- • Travel up to 30% to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support key sales initiatives in person.
- • Operate with an operator’s mindset, thinking in funnel math, unit economics, conversion rates, and attach rates to drive predictable revenue growth.
- • Function as a builder in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment — creating the playbook from scratch as the first Account Executive dedicated to the Patient Payments motion.
- • Engage and persuade finance-led buying committees including CFOs, VPs of RCM, Directors of Revenue Cycle, and Directors of Billing.
- • Maintain exceptional organizational skills, time management, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, SE, CS, and Marketing teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of B2B SaaS Account Executive experience, with at least 2 years selling healthcare payments, RCM, billing, or revenue cycle software.
- • Proven track record of closing deals into provider groups, MSOs, or health systems with direct experience engaging RCM, billing, and finance buyers (CFO, VP RCM, VP Finance, Director of Revenue Cycle, Director of Billing).
- • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding quota with verifiable self-sourced pipeline generation.
- • Strong CRM hygiene and disciplined weekly forecasting practices using Salesforce and Gong.
- • Operator mindset focused on funnel math, attach rate, conversion, and unit economics.
- • Builder mindset with high tolerance for ambiguity; comfortable creating processes from scratch as the first hire in a new sales motion.
