  • • As an Account Executive for the Public Sector at Axon Enterprise, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to Protect Life by driving the adoption of innovative public safety technologies across small and mid-sized agencies in Eastern Canada. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing officer safety, improving operational efficiency, and increasing transparency and accountability within law enforcement and public safety organizations through the strategic sale of Axon’s integrated ecosystem of devices and cloud-based software.
  • • You will develop and execute comprehensive account strategies tailored to the unique mission-critical needs of public safety agencies, focusing on solutions such as body-worn and in-car cameras (Axon Body 4, Axon Fleet), TASER devices (including TASER 10), digital evidence management (Axon Evidence), and VR training programs. This involves close collaboration with internal teams including customer success, engineering, and program management to ensure seamless delivery and measurable value realization for customers.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing long, complex sales cycles, leading discovery meetings, presenting value propositions, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate records in Salesforce to support forecasting and pipeline visibility. You will cultivate relationships with executive and operational leaders—such as Chiefs of Police, Deputy Chiefs, and CIOs—positioning Axon as a trusted, long-term partner in public safety innovation.
  • • You will champion public safety outcomes by aligning Axon’s solutions with agency goals around safety, transparency, and accountability, while actively gathering customer feedback to inform product development—contributing at least five actionable insights per quarter. Additionally, you will drive market penetration by securing net new agency contracts and expanding within existing accounts, aiming for 95%+ customer retention and identifying upsell opportunities in areas like VR training and in-car video systems.
  • • You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and sales teams to ensure project delivery on time and on scope, while serving as an advocate for Canadian customers within the broader Axon organization. Success will be measured by achieving or exceeding annual revenue targets, maintaining 90%+ forecast accuracy, and demonstrating strategic solution selling that addresses pain points through Axon’s full suite of products, including Axon Records, Fleet, and Evidence.com.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a complex, consultative sales environment, preferably within public safety, SaaS, or cloud-based solutions.
  • • Deep understanding of municipal procurement processes and public safety technology, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • • Experience working with law enforcement or public safety agencies, demonstrating the ability to connect Axon’s mission and products to the unique challenges of these organizations.
  • • Strong technical acumen, including familiarity with cloud computing, SaaS platforms, and digital evidence management systems, preferably with experience engaging public safety IT leaders on digital transformation initiatives.
  • • Willingness to travel up to 50% across Eastern Canada to engage with customers and stakeholders in person.
  • • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., customer success, engineering, program management) to deliver comprehensive customer solutions and ensure project success.
