- • We are seeking a driven and accomplished Account Executive to join our client, a globally recognized SaaS company specializing in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) sector. This is a remote position based in Germany, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a company that empowers businesses of all sizes, from SMBs to large enterprises, to transform complex regulatory requirements into streamlined, automated digital processes.
- • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in articulating the profound business value embedded within sophisticated technical features, effectively persuading C-level stakeholders such as CISOs, Risk Managers, Legal Counsel, and HR leaders. Your ability to bridge the gap between technical capabilities and strategic business objectives will be key to your success.
- • Your primary mission will encompass comprehensive Account Management. A significant unique selling proposition (USP) of our client's product suite is its all-in-one approach, covering all GRC aspects seamlessly. This integrated solution presents substantial opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, building upon an already robust renewal rate and exceptionally high levels of customer satisfaction. You will nurture existing client relationships, identify expansion opportunities, and ensure continued value delivery.
- • Strategic Networking is another core component of your role. You will proactively build and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers within IT Security, Compliance, and Legal departments. By understanding their challenges and demonstrating how our client's solutions can address them, you will become a trusted advisor.
- • Lead Generation will be a critical aspect of your responsibilities. You should possess a proactive and tenacious approach to new customer acquisition. This not only expands our client's market reach but also provides you with invaluable insights into the entire sales cycle and the specific pain points faced by potential clients. Your ability to identify and engage with new prospects will be vital for driving growth.
- • You will excel in providing Solution-Oriented Consulting. This involves conducting compelling product demonstrations tailored to resonate with the specific "pain points" of clients in areas such as risk management, audit, and regulatory adherence. Your presentations will clearly illustrate how the SaaS solution directly addresses these challenges, offering tangible benefits and driving adoption.
- • Effective Pipeline Management is essential for success. You will be responsible for independently managing your sales pipeline within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), ensuring accuracy and providing precise sales forecasts. This meticulous approach to pipeline management will enable strategic planning and resource allocation.
- • Developing Market Expertise is encouraged. While prior GRC knowledge is not strictly mandatory, you will be expected to stay abreast of evolving regulatory trends and industry standards, such as ISO 27001, SOC2, and ESG. This continuous learning will empower you to engage in high-level discussions with industry experts and position yourself as a knowledgeable consultant.
- • The sales cycles for GRC solutions can be complex, typically ranging from 1 to 9 months depending on the client's size and structure. Your persistence, strategic thinking, and understanding of internal client hurdles will be crucial in navigating these longer sales processes and securing successful closures.
