- • Penrod is seeking a seasoned and self-driven Account Executive (titled Account Director in the posting) to join its specialized Healthcare team, focusing on selling innovative healthcare solutions and professional services directly to large hospital systems. This role is critical to expanding Penrod’s market presence in the provider space by leveraging deep industry expertise and existing relationships to drive revenue growth.
- • The Account Executive will serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, identifying, developing, and closing complex sales opportunities in the healthcare sector. Success hinges on the individual’s ability to build a robust sales pipeline through personal initiative, strategic networking, and consultative selling — without reliance on channel partners.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include: researching and targeting large hospital systems aligned with Penrod’s healthcare solutions; initiating and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers such as CIOs, CMOs, and operations leaders; conducting discovery calls to uncover clinical and operational pain points; developing tailored solution proposals that integrate Salesforce platforms with healthcare-specific workflows; leading product demonstrations and technical workshops; negotiating contracts and pricing structures; collaborating with internal delivery and implementation teams to ensure seamless handover post-sale; maintaining accurate pipeline forecasts in CRM systems; attending industry conferences and virtual events to stay ahead of regulatory and technological trends; and providing feedback to product and marketing teams based on frontline customer insights.
- • Penrod’s Healthcare team is a specialized unit within a growing consultancy known for its expertise in Salesforce implementations and digital transformation for complex enterprises. The team operates with an entrepreneurial spirit, combining deep domain knowledge in healthcare IT with technical proficiency to deliver measurable outcomes for providers navigating digital modernization, patient engagement, and regulatory compliance.
