  • • You will partner strategically with the SLED Sales Manager, sharing responsibility for the Texas SLED region and contributing significantly to pipeline generation, revenue attainment, and the establishment of enduring client partnerships.
  • • Your primary mission will be to expand Apollo's footprint by developing and executing a comprehensive territory business plan, meticulously identifying target accounts, key opportunities, and a clear, actionable strategy to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • • This role requires a deep understanding of the cybersecurity services landscape and the unique procurement processes inherent to state and local government entities, K-12 school districts, and higher education institutions.
  • • You will be responsible for initiating and nurturing new business development through a multi-faceted approach, including targeted outbound prospecting, leveraging industry events, building robust partner relationships, and capitalizing on referral networks.
  • • A core function involves engaging directly with key decision-makers and influencers within Texas public sector organizations, such as CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors, and procurement officers, to thoroughly understand their most pressing cybersecurity challenges and pain points.
  • • You will expertly align Apollo's comprehensive suite of cybersecurity solutions, including managed security services, advisory, assessment, incident response, and offensive security offerings, to address these specific client needs, positioning Apollo as a trusted advisor.
  • • Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships is paramount. You will act as a dedicated point of contact, fostering loyalty and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the entire sales cycle and beyond.
  • • Close collaboration with the Sales Manager is essential for aligning on territory strategy, conducting rigorous pipeline reviews, providing accurate forecasting, and prioritizing go-to-market initiatives.
  • • You will work seamlessly with internal cross-functional teams, including technical experts, service delivery specialists, and marketing professionals, to craft compelling, tailored proposals and solutions that resonate with the unique requirements of SLED clients.
  • • A critical aspect of this role involves navigating the complexities of public sector procurement processes. This includes a thorough understanding of RFPs, cooperative purchasing vehicles (e.g., DIR, TIPS, NCPA), and state contracts, with the goal of removing obstacles and accelerating deal velocity.
  • • You will proactively identify and develop strategic relationships with key contracting vehicles and cooperative purchasing organizations to enable scalable and repeatable sales motions across the Texas SLED market.
  • • Diligent management and growth of an active sales pipeline within the CRM system are required, ensuring all opportunity data, activity logs, and forecasts are meticulously maintained and up-to-date.
