This is a dynamic, fully remote position where you will be instrumental in driving net new business and helping small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) navigate the complexities of global employment with Remote's innovative HR platform.
  • • As a pure hunter role, your primary focus will be on identifying and acquiring new logos. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting and lead generation through to closing deals. This involves a proactive approach to building a robust pipeline, engaging with potential clients, and demonstrating the value of Remote's comprehensive suite of services.
  • • You will be responsible for understanding the unique challenges and needs of SMBs in the Australian and New Zealand markets. This includes identifying their employment compliance, payroll, and HR management requirements, and then crafting tailored solutions using Remote's platform to address these specific pain points.
  • • Your day-to-day activities will involve a significant amount of outreach, including making confident calls to prospective customers, virtual or in-person visits, leveraging networking opportunities, and participating in industry events to generate leads and build relationships.
  • • A key aspect of this role is the ability to effectively present Remote's Global HR Platform to prospective and existing customers. You will need to articulate how our services can streamline international hiring, ensure compliance, and optimize global workforce management, thereby enabling businesses to grow and scale seamlessly.
  • • You will own the customer relationship from the initial sale through to the successful completion of their onboarding and integration with Remote's services, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • • Success in this role requires a strong understanding of sales processes, particularly within the SaaS industry. You will need to be adept at qualifying opportunities, identifying key decision-makers within target organizations, and navigating complex commercial discussions.
  • • You will be expected to develop and execute strategic sales plays, utilizing operational best practices to efficiently move deals through the sales cycle and consistently meet or exceed your sales quota.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with various cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and operations, to ensure a cohesive and exceptional customer journey from lead to long-term client.
  • • Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date pipeline of high-velocity opportunities is crucial. This involves meticulous record-keeping, accurate forecasting of close dates, and detailed notes on each deal to ensure efficient management and reporting.
