As an Account Executive (SMB) in Utrecht, Netherlands, you will be instrumental in acquiring new Small to Medium-sized Business (SMB) logos, driving revenue growth, and expanding KnowBe4's market presence.

  • • Your primary responsibility will be to meet and exceed monthly sales quotas by acquiring new SMB accounts within your assigned territory. This involves a proactive approach to sales, leveraging various prospecting methods, diligently following up on inbound leads, and strategically reigniting dormant customer opportunities to drive new logo acquisition.
  • • You will be expected to build and maintain a robust pipeline of SMB opportunities. This requires a deep understanding of lead cadence best practices and the ability to effectively conduct product demonstrations, showcasing the full value proposition of KnowBe4’s comprehensive suite of security solutions.
  • • A key aspect of this role is articulating how KnowBe4's products enhance an organization's human firewall. You will educate potential clients on how each product within our suite can significantly improve their security posture and mitigate risks, transforming their biggest vulnerability into their strongest defense.
  • • Success in this role hinges on understanding an organization's unique buying needs, identifying key decision-makers, anticipating potential roadblocks, and defining clear next steps to shorten sales cycles and maximize the volume of new logo acquisitions. This requires strategic thinking and a consultative sales approach.
  • • You will strategically manage subscription levels, negotiate multi-year deals, and potentially offer discounted pricing to increase Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). This requires strong negotiation skills and a keen understanding of financial value propositions.
  • • Maintaining accurate and thorough records of daily sales activities is crucial. You will utilize Salesforce to meticulously track all interactions, opportunities, and progress, ensuring data integrity for reporting and forecasting.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with assigned Channel Sales Representatives to ensure a seamless closing process for new logos acquired through our valuable partner business channels. This partnership approach ensures a unified customer experience and maximizes revenue opportunities.
  • • Building and nurturing strong relationships with prospects is fundamental to your success. You will proactively develop and manage these relationships to create a consistent pipeline of potential customers and foster long-term business growth.
