  • • As an Account Executive, SMB at Deel, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing how small and medium-sized businesses engage with global talent. Your primary mission will be to drive sales growth and significantly expand our client base within the dynamic SMB sector. This role is pivotal in identifying and nurturing prospective clients, cultivating strong, lasting relationships, and delivering bespoke Deel solutions that precisely address the unique operational and growth challenges faced by SMBs.
  • • You will be instrumental in representing and articulating the immense value proposition of Deel's all-in-one payroll and HR platform. This involves demonstrating how our comprehensive suite of tools—encompassing HRIS, payroll, compliance, benefits, performance, and equipment management—can streamline operations, ensure global compliance, and empower businesses to scale smarter and faster.
  • • A core responsibility will be to build and deepen relationships with both new prospects and existing customers. This proactive engagement will not only secure new business but also identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, maximizing the value Deel delivers to each client.
  • • You will conduct thorough research into potential clients' requirements, understanding their specific pain points and business objectives. This deep understanding will enable you to qualify leads effectively and strategically position Deel's solutions as the ideal answer to their needs, fostering a consultative sales approach.
  • • Collaboration is key in this role. You will work in close partnership with our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team, strategizing on lead generation and pipeline management. Your efforts will be crucial in maintaining an accurate, healthy, and robust sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities.
  • • Ongoing, proactive communication and relationship building with internal stakeholders across various departments are essential. This includes close collaboration with Marketing to align on campaigns and messaging, with Customer Success to ensure seamless client onboarding and retention, and with Senior Leadership to provide market insights and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • • Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our CRM system is a critical operational duty. You will be responsible for diligently updating client information, tracking sales activities, and ensuring that all data is current and comprehensive, providing a clear view of the sales funnel and customer interactions.
  • • To stay ahead of industry trends and expand your professional network, you will be expected to attend relevant industry events. This includes actively participating in HR Tech, FinTech, and Payroll ecosystem gatherings, building valuable relationships, and gathering market intelligence.
  • • This role demands a proactive, results-oriented approach, with a strong emphasis on achieving and exceeding sales targets within the SMB market. You will be empowered to manage your sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for every prospect.
  • • By understanding the evolving landscape of global employment and compliance, you will guide SMBs through the complexities of hiring and managing international teams, positioning Deel as their indispensable partner.
