  • As an Account Executive, SMB for Southeast Asia at Remote Technologies Inc., you will be at the forefront of enabling businesses to navigate the complexities of global employment. Your role is pivotal in driving net new business and expanding Remote's reach within the Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) sector across the dynamic Southeast Asian market. You will leverage your expertise to connect with prospective clients, understand their unique international hiring challenges, and demonstrate how Remote's comprehensive Global HR Platform provides compliant, efficient, and scalable solutions. This is a pure hunting role, demanding a proactive and results-oriented approach to identify, engage, and convert new logos, directly contributing to Remote's mission of simplifying global employment for organizations worldwide.
  • Your day-to-day will involve a robust cycle of prospecting and pipeline generation. You will proactively initiate contact with potential customers through various channels, including confident cold calling, virtual engagements, strategic networking, and participation in industry events. A significant part of your role will be qualifying opportunities, which includes identifying and engaging with multiple key decision-makers within target organizations. You will be responsible for presenting Remote's suite of services, articulating the value proposition clearly and persuasively, and tailoring solutions to meet the specific communication and employment needs of SMB customers. This involves deep dives into understanding their business objectives and challenges related to international hiring, compliance, payroll, and HR management. You will manage the entire sales cycle from initial outreach through to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both the client and Remote. This includes creating detailed opportunity plans with accurate close dates, maintaining a clean and current pipeline of high-velocity opportunities, and efficiently delivering all necessary information to potential clients. You will also be adept at proactively addressing client questions and following up promptly to maintain momentum. A key aspect of your role will be to own the customer relationship from the point of sale through to the successful completion of the business setup, ensuring a positive initial experience.

This includes maintaining meticulous records of all sales activities and pipeline progression within our CRM system. You will also collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, such as customer success and support, to ensure a cohesive and positive client experience post-sale, reinforcing Remote's commitment to customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Your ability to handle complex commercial and pricing objections with confidence and skill will be paramount in securing new business and driving revenue growth for Remote in this key market. You will also be instrumental in creating detailed 'Land' opportunity deals, ensuring all necessary documentation and accurate forecasting are in place to support business objectives and strategic planning.
