  • As an Account Executive for the Southwest Region (PST/MST timezones), you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, driving growth and expanding our reach. This is a full-cycle sales role, meaning you will manage every aspect of the sales process, from initial prospecting and lead generation through to closing deals and onboarding new clients. You will be responsible for identifying and targeting prospective companies, building a robust sales pipeline, and nurturing relationships with potential customers.
  • Your day-to-day will involve actively researching and identifying target companies within your assigned territory using various prospecting tools. You will then engage these prospects, understand their unique retirement plan needs, and demonstrate how Human Interest's innovative platform can provide a valuable solution. This requires a deep understanding of our product and the ability to articulate its benefits clearly and persuasively.
  • A key part of this role is conducting compelling product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of each prospective customer. You will need to effectively communicate the value proposition of Human Interest, highlighting how we make it easy and affordable for businesses to offer retirement benefits, thereby improving employee retention and financial well-being.
  • Negotiation will be a critical skill as you work towards finalizing contracts and securing new business. You will be expected to navigate discussions, address concerns, and reach mutually beneficial agreements that lead to successful partnerships.
  • Meticulous record-keeping is essential. You will be responsible for accurately documenting all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates in Salesforce.com, ensuring data integrity and providing valuable insights for sales strategy and forecasting.
  • Success in this role hinges on your ability to master and leverage our suite of sales technology tools. Proficiency with CRM systems, prospecting software, and other sales enablement technologies will be crucial for maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.

🎯 Requirements

  • At least 2 years of work experience in a sales role, preferably at a startup.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding quota in previous sales roles.
  • Experience with high-velocity sales cycles or selling to small businesses.
  • Comfortable with a wide range of sales tools, including Salesforce or other CRMs.
  • Must be located in the Pacific time zone (PST/MST).

  • Competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) of $150,000 - $155,000 (including base salary and variable target compensation).
