- • As an Account Executive for Strategic Accounts at Formagrid Inc., you will be instrumental in driving the growth and adoption of Airtable's innovative no-code app platform within the DACH region, specifically focusing on the German market. This role is pivotal as Airtable accelerates its expansion in EMEA, building upon its successful launch in 2022 and establishing a strong on-the-ground presence in Germany. You will operate within a hybrid model, collaborating closely with teams in both Germany and London, and will be a key member of the initial German landing team.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to act as a trusted business advisor to a portfolio of strategic accounts. This involves deeply understanding the unique business needs and challenges of each client, identifying their specific pain points, and expertly mapping these to Airtable's powerful solutions. You will be expected to cultivate and manage a robust sales pipeline, leveraging both inbound leads and proactive outbound prospecting to secure new customers for the Airtable Platform.
- • A significant aspect of this role is building and nurturing strong relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers across a diverse range of industries. You will need to develop a comprehensive understanding of their organizational structures and strategic objectives to effectively position Airtable as a transformative solution.
- • You will own and prioritize your book of business, meticulously developing and executing strategic account plans for each individual client. This includes identifying untapped opportunities, demonstrating how Airtable can bridge use cases across different departments, and strategically expanding your influence within the client's organization by building and climbing the organizational chart.
- • A key objective is to source and drive expansion opportunities within new departments of existing accounts. This requires articulating a compelling, end-to-end (wall-to-wall) story that showcases Airtable's versatility and value proposition to C-level executives, including the CIO and other relevant stakeholders, as the account gains momentum and adoption.
- • You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from initial lead generation and qualification through to closing deals. This end-to-end ownership demands a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- • To ensure successful client engagements, you will coordinate and leverage cross-functional resources throughout the sales cycle. This includes collaborating with legal teams, sales engineers, implementation specialists, and leadership to address client needs and facilitate deal progression.
- • A crucial part of your role is to educate and consult clients on the tangible value Airtable can deliver, not just during the sales process but also throughout their adoption journey. This consultative approach ensures clients maximize their ROI and become long-term advocates.
- • You will be adept at modeling a wide array of use cases, demonstrating how Airtable can drive significant business transformation across various industries. This requires a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
- • Efficiently managing a high volume of inbound and outbound communications, particularly email, will be essential. You will need to prioritize opportunities effectively to maintain momentum and responsiveness.
- • Accurate forecasting of performance against sales targets is critical. You will achieve this through a combination of detailed, bottom-up deal-by-deal commitments and top-down territory analysis, providing leadership with reliable insights into pipeline health and revenue projections.
