- • As an Account Executive, Strategic (EMEA) at Docker Inc., you will be at the forefront of managing and cultivating relationships with our most critical strategic clients across the EMEA region. This pivotal role demands a sophisticated blend of sales acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional client management skills to drive significant revenue growth and ensure unparalleled client satisfaction.
- • You will be the primary advocate for your assigned strategic accounts, building and nurturing robust, long-term partnerships. This involves deeply understanding their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities, and translating that knowledge into actionable strategies that leverage Docker's innovative solutions.
- • Your core responsibility will be to achieve and consistently exceed ambitious sales targets within your portfolio. This will be accomplished by proactively identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities, as well as expanding existing engagements through upselling and cross-selling Docker's comprehensive suite of products and services.
- • A key aspect of this role is strategic business planning. You will collaborate closely with clients to co-create and implement strategic roadmaps that align with their evolving business needs and drive mutual success. This requires a proactive approach to understanding market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and emerging industry trends to inform your planning and uncover new avenues for growth.
- • Success in this role hinges on your ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of client organizations, from technical teams to C-suite executives. You will present compelling value propositions, articulate complex technical solutions in business terms, and navigate intricate negotiation processes to secure favorable outcomes.
- • Collaboration is paramount. You will work hand-in-hand with internal cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, Customer Success, and Support, to ensure a unified and exceptional client experience. Your insights from client interactions will be invaluable in shaping product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
- • You will be responsible for meticulous reporting and accurate forecasting of sales performance. This includes tracking key account metrics, monitoring sales pipeline health, and providing regular updates on account status and transaction progress against defined goals.
- • Leading contract negotiations will be a significant part of your remit. You will ensure that all agreements are structured to benefit both the client and Docker, fostering sustainable and profitable partnerships.
- • Your first 30 days will focus on immersing yourself in Docker's culture, products, and value proposition, while beginning to build crucial internal relationships and familiarizing yourself with your strategic account portfolio.
- • Within your first 90 days, you will develop detailed strategic plans for your key accounts, establish performance KPIs, and actively pursue new business opportunities, initiating negotiations and driving sales momentum.
- • By the end of your first year, you are expected to have met or exceeded sales targets, demonstrated significant growth within your strategic accounts, established deep, trust-based relationships, and potentially identified and implemented process improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- • Ultimately, your success will be measured not only by revenue generated but also by the depth of strategic partnerships you build, the tangible value you deliver to clients, and your contribution to Docker's long-term growth and market leadership in the EMEA region.
