  • • You will become an expert in Amplify’s comprehensive suite of programs, including ELA, math, and science, designed to engage all students in rigorous learning and foster critical thinking. This involves staying abreast of the latest pedagogical approaches and how Amplify's offerings align with them.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be conducting high-quality, consultative sales discussions. This means actively listening to educators and administrators to uncover their specific pain points and demonstrating how Amplify's print and digital products can provide effective, targeted solutions.
  • • You will be responsible for achieving ambitious quarterly and annual revenue targets, requiring a strategic approach to territory management and a relentless drive to close deals.
  • • Maintaining a profound understanding of the K-12 educational landscape is crucial. This includes staying informed about industry trends, evolving funding streams, and the competitive offerings in the market, allowing you to position Amplify's solutions effectively.
  • • Building and nurturing strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers within school districts will be paramount. This includes engaging with Superintendents, Curriculum Directors, Department Heads, teachers, and other influential stakeholders to establish trust and identify future opportunities.
  • • You will be expected to provide timely and accurate reporting on your sales pipeline, forecasts, account plans, and territory management activities, ensuring transparency and strategic alignment with company goals.
  • • Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective clients is essential for sustained success. This involves continuous prospecting and actively managing your assigned territory to maximize its potential.
  • • Your ability to gain customer commitments and skillfully navigate them through the sales process, from initial contact to closing, will be a critical measure of your effectiveness.
  • • You will proactively seek out new business opportunities throughout the year, employing creative strategies to penetrate new accounts and expand Amplify's reach.
  • • Conducting in-person meetings within schools and district offices will be a regular part of your role, allowing for direct engagement and a deeper understanding of the educational environment.
  • • Strategic territory research, including understanding local trends, competitor activities, and available funding sources, will inform your sales approach and help you devise effective campaigns tailored to the West Tennessee region.
