- • Own the full sales pipeline from prospecting to close, identifying, researching, and prioritizing high-potential accounts and verticals within the UK&I market to build a consistent outbound motion for new opportunities.
- • Execute a structured, world-class sales process using MEDDPICC or a similar methodology to qualify leads deeply, forecast accurately, and progress deals with predictability and discipline.
- • Convert inbound and outbound interest into long-term customer value by educating prospects on the business impact of Vanta’s Trust Management Platform, delivering compelling product demos, and tailoring solution recommendations to align with each customer’s specific goals.
- • Engage confidently with C-suite executives, founders, and technical leaders, translating complex compliance and security concepts—including SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001—into clear, actionable business value.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with SDRs, marketing, legal, and Solutions Engineers to identify, pursue, and win deals, ensuring alignment across teams to maximize conversion rates and pipeline velocity.
- • Act as a market expansion champion by exploring strategic partnership opportunities, representing Vanta at industry events, and contributing insights to strengthen our presence in the UK&I region.
- • Operate with high autonomy and urgency in a fast-moving startup environment, taking full ownership of quotas and consistently exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- • Continuously refine your sales approach by actively seeking coaching, incorporating feedback, and contributing to the improvement of team playbooks, messaging, and outbound best practices.
- • Demonstrate technical competency to understand Vanta’s software architecture and build credibility with technical prospects, enabling deeper conversations around automation, compliance, and continuous security monitoring.
- • Bring an entrepreneurial spirit and initiative to help build Vanta’s first EMEA sales team from the ground up, shaping processes, culture, and growth strategies in an untapped market.
- • Leverage AI tools responsibly to enhance efficiency and impact, demonstrating curiosity, sound judgment, and a proactive willingness to adopt new technologies that improve performance.
- • Embrace a culture of continuous learning, seeking to deeply understand customer needs and how Vanta can solve their unique security and compliance challenges.
- • Maintain a high standard of executive presence and communication, ensuring all customer interactions reflect professionalism, clarity, and alignment with Vanta’s mission to help businesses earn and prove trust.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of proven experience closing B2B SaaS deals in a quota-carrying Account Executive role
- • Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
- • Experience selling to SMB and Mid-Market customers in the technology sector
- • Strong understanding of or willingness to learn complex compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001
- • Ability to engage confidently with technical and executive-level stakeholders
- • Entrepreneurial mindset with autonomy, initiative, and a bias for action in a startup environment
