- ⢠As an Account Manager at SciLeads Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer retention, expanding revenue from existing accounts, and supporting the companyās mission to deliver market and sales intelligence to the life science and pharmaceutical industries. Your work directly contributes to SciLeadsā sustained growth, recognized by Deloitte as one of the UKās fastest-growing tech companies for five consecutive years.
- ⢠You will manage a global portfolio of small to mid-market clients (1ā200 employees), focusing on increasing renewal rates, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring customers achieve their strategic goals through consultative, needs-based account management. This role is central to maximizing lifetime value and fostering long-term partnerships in a fast-paced, remote-first SaaS environment.
- ⢠Day to day, you will: build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations to understand their evolving needs and drive retention; identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities by aligning SciLeadsā solutions with customer growth objectives; develop and implement strategic account plans to expand product adoption across teams and departments within existing accounts; collaborate closely with Customer Success and SDR teams to ensure seamless handoffs, proactive issue resolution, and coordinated growth initiatives; consistently meet or exceed sales quotas by closing deals and forecasting revenue with accuracy; engage with sales and marketing decision-makers to demonstrate how SciLeadsā intelligence platform drives measurable business outcomes; own and report on sales activity, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy using CRM tools; and optionally attend scientific tradeshows to network and represent the brand in industry settings (travel is encouraged but not required).

šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Currently in an Account Management role with 3ā5 years of prior experience in Sales, Business Development, or a related client-facing position
- ⢠Strong relationship-building skills with a proven ability to own accounts, think long-term, and drive customer success through trust and consultative engagement
- ⢠Life Sciences or Science degree, or equivalent professional background demonstrating familiarity with the industryās dynamics, terminology, and customer needs
- ⢠Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective engagement with technical and executive stakeholders across global markets
- ⢠Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple accounts, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- ⢠High level of drive, competitive mindset, positive attitude, and sense of urgencyāessential for exceeding targets and thriving in a growth-oriented culture
