- • We are seeking an Account Manager to manage a portfolio of strategic customer accounts across a designated region.
- • This role serves as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers, driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand Lonza’s Bioscience portfolio.
- • The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams and global stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions while supporting long-term business objectives.
- • Manage a portfolio of strategic and high-value customer accounts, serving as the primary commercial point of contact.
- • Develop and execute account plans that drive revenue growth, increase product adoption, and expand market share within assigned accounts.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, identifying business needs and aligning solutions with customer objectives.
- • Manage the sales pipeline from opportunity identification through contract execution, ensuring accurate forecasting and achievement of sales targets.
- • Lead commercial discussions and negotiations for pricing, contracts, and long-term business agreements.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Management, Quality, Regulatory, and Technical Support, to deliver seamless customer experience.
- • Partner with global colleagues to support technical transfers, supply continuity planning, and global account strategies.
- • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.
- • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, business development, or customer-facing commercial roles within the life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
- • Demonstrated success managing customer relationships and achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- • Strong negotiation and contract management skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple organizational levels.
