- • As an Account Manager specializing in the Growth and Territory Segment at AVEVA Group Limited, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market presence by driving new business acquisition and growing existing accounts through solution-based selling of AVEVA’s industrial software suite. Your work directly contributes to enabling customers in energy, infrastructure, chemicals, and minerals to manage engineering and process data as a unified digital twin, supporting safer, more efficient, and sustainable operations—aligning with AVEVA’s mission to engineer a better world.
- • Day to day, you will identify and engage new customers who have not previously used AVEVA solutions, secure new business, and expand market presence through proactive outreach and strategic prospecting. You will develop and nurture relationships with existing accounts to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities, increase Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and ensure long-term customer satisfaction. You will create and execute detailed account plans using the MEDDPICC sales methodology, manage your pipeline in Salesforce, and deliver compelling, value-driven presentations tailored to specific client needs. Collaboration with internal teams—including solution architects, customer success, and support—is essential to ensure seamless execution and issue resolution. You will stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and AVEVA’s evolving product portfolio through continuous training, and maintain accurate forecasting and reporting to meet individual and team revenue targets. Regular regional travel (50-60% of the time) and occasional international travel are required to engage customers effectively.
- • You will join AVEVA’s Commercial team, a global force of over 2,000 colleagues dedicated to understanding customer needs and delivering tailored industrial software solutions. - • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in solution-based selling within the industrial software sector, master complex enterprise sales cycles, and refine your ability to communicate technical value to C-suite and operational stakeholders. You will gain deep familiarity with SaaS/DaaS business models, Salesforce CRM, and the MEDDPICC methodology—skills highly transferable across global tech sales. Success in this position can lead to career progression into senior account management, sales leadership, or specialized industry roles within AVEVA’s expanding global footprint.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record in solution-based direct sales, including relationship-building at all levels within client organizations.
- • Business development experience focused on hunting and securing new customers and business opportunities.
- • Demonstrated ability to deliver against individual sales targets.
- • Experience selling SaaS or DaaS (Data as a Service) solutions.
- • Ability to close complex software and product agreements, owning the entire sales process.
- • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus local language proficiency at minimum B2 level.
- • Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- • Experience in industrial software, engineering software, or automation is highly preferred.
- • Familiarity with Salesforce and the MEDDPICC sales framework.
