- • Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle for a portfolio of SMB and mid-market customers across the UK and Ireland, ensuring ongoing value delivery, retention, and expansion of Kota Platform benefits.
- • Drive account growth by identifying and executing upsell and cross-sell opportunities across benefits, geographies, and use cases within existing customer accounts.
- • Manage customer renewals proactively, reducing churn risk through timely engagement, health monitoring, and alignment with Benefits and Customer Experience teams.
- • Develop and maintain detailed account plans that include goals, risks, health signals, renewal timelines, and expansion opportunities with accurate forecasting.
- • Act as the primary trusted advisor for customers on benefits operations, platform usage, and best practices, ensuring they are fully activated and compliant.
- • Own account health by monitoring usage, engagement, and operational complexity, and coordinate escalations across Customer Experience, Product, and Benefits teams to resolve issues.
- • Champion the voice of the customer by translating feedback into structured insights that inform product priorities, success metrics, and the evolution of Kota’s Customer Success function.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Benefits, and Support teams to align customer needs with platform capabilities and operational workflows.
- • Help define and scale the account management playbook, rhythms, and standards as the first hire in this role, shaping how Kota structures customer success post-onboarding.
- • Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting to support sales forecasting, customer health tracking, and team-wide visibility into account performance.
- • Work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with complex benefits products, requiring strong navigation of compliance, operational detail, and customer expectations.
- • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations to deepen trust, increase adoption, and secure contract renewals and expansions.
- • Contribute to the development of customer success metrics and KPIs that reflect value realization, engagement, and retention across the customer base.
- • Participate in internal reviews and strategy sessions to refine account management processes and improve overall customer outcomes.
- • Represent Kota as a knowledgeable, reliable partner in all customer interactions, embodying the company’s values of integrity, ownership, and care.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience managing a book of business in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar post-sales role.
- • Comfort working with SMB and mid-market customers in a fast-moving environment.
- • Strong commercial instincts around renewals, expansion, and value articulation.
- • Ability to navigate complexity across product, operations, and regulated environments.
- • Clear communicator who builds trust with customers and internal teams.
- • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable building structure where none exists yet.
