  • • As an Account Manager (Client Manager) at Optiv Security Inc., you will be responsible for selling Optiv security services and technology solutions to a select group of strategic accounts in Michigan, owning the full sales cycle and leading cross-functional teams to develop and execute multi-year strategic account management plans that align with client business, technology, and cybersecurity goals.
  • • Day to day, you will build trusted relationships with client executives, create and manage multi-year strategic account plans based on client goals and Optiv’s security expertise, build a sales pipeline targeting 4x assigned targets, manage accurate multi-quarter forecasts using Force Management principles like MEDDICC, communicate Optiv’s value proposition effectively, collaborate with technology partners to generate and share leads, mediate communications between clients, partners, and internal teams (technical, sales, operations), and maintain strong internal alignment on opportunities and client satisfaction.

  • • In this role, you will develop advanced strategic account management skills, deepen your expertise in cybersecurity solutions and services sales, master complex sales methodologies like MEDDICC, strengthen executive-level relationship building and negotiation abilities, and gain experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes and exceed gross margin targets in a high-impact, remote-friendly role.

šŸŽÆ Requirements

  • • Experience in product or services-based sales, typically gained over 3-5+ years in a technology company, ideally within the cybersecurity industry.
  • • Proven ability to build and execute territory and account prospecting and expansion plans with a consistent track record of exceeding assigned quotas.
  • • Demonstrated experience engaging cross-functional resources such as sales, pre-sales technical support, and other support personnel effectively to drive account success.
  • • History of building productive business relationships with key executives and sponsors within assigned accounts.
  • • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, along with negotiation experience and a history of exceeding plans and expectations.
