  • • As a Software Account Executive (Command Center) at Motorola Solutions, you will drive new business growth by selling industry-leading public safety software solutions—including computer aided dispatch, records management, jail management, evidence management, analytics, and situational awareness—to large-tier government agencies across Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska. This hunter role is critical to expanding Motorola’s footprint in mission-critical public safety technology, directly contributing to safer communities through innovative software that enables faster emergency response and smarter public service operations.
  • • Day to day, you will prospect, qualify, and close complex sales opportunities through a combination of phone outreach, on-site visits, trade show participation, software demonstrations, and presentations to stakeholders at multiple levels—including city/county officials, procurement committees, and IT decision makers. You will manage long sales cycles, coordinate with internal teams on multi-jurisdictional projects, maintain accurate CRM records, and continuously refine opportunity qualification to ensure pipeline health and forecast accuracy.
  • • You will join the Software Enterprise Sales team, a specialized unit within Motorola Solutions dedicated to delivering end-to-end public safety software and communications systems to Public Safety and Public Service markets. The team leverages deep domain expertise and a consultative sales approach to solve complex operational challenges for agencies ranging from large metropolitan cities to rural counties, all while upholding the company’s mission to help keep people safer everywhere.
  • • In this role, you will develop advanced consultative selling skills, deepen your expertise in public sector procurement processes, and master the art of selling complex enterprise software solutions with long sales cycles. You’ll have the opportunity to significantly exceed quota through aggressive accelerators, build a legacy of trusted customer relationships, and grow into a strategic advisor for government clients navigating digital transformation in public safety.
