- • As a Director of Strategic Accounts at Tanium Inc., you will drive revenue growth by identifying and closing large, complex enterprise software deals within an assigned territory or set of strategic accounts, directly contributing to the company’s market leadership in Autonomous IT.
- • Day to day, you will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to C-suite executives (CIO, CISO, VP Ops) and technical stakeholders like Red Team members, manage complex sales cycles, nurture executive relationships, collaborate with Partner and Marketing teams on prospecting, generate sales development activity, maintain accurate Salesforce forecasts, and conduct webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads, with travel as needed.
- • You will join Tanium’s global field sales team, a high-performing, collaborative organization recognized for innovation and excellence, where selling is a team sport and success is measured by exceeding quota while delivering tailored technology solutions that empower IT and security teams to make organizations unstoppable.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise cybersecurity and endpoint management sales, master complex, multi-stakeholder deal execution, strengthen your ability to influence C-suite decision-makers, and contribute to Tanium’s mission of delivering Autonomous IT—while growing your leadership impact in a company recognized on the Forbes Cloud 100 list for ten consecutive years.
🎯 Requirements
- • Significant enterprise software sales experience generating and closing large, complex software transactions with major regional customers
- • Proven track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas
- • Experience calling on and presenting to C-Suite level contacts (CIO, CISO, VP Ops)
- • Background building and cultivating relationships with partner ecosystems to support a partner-centric go-to-market approach
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills
- • Strong team mentality with ability to leverage virtual resources in complex sales cycles
