  • • As an Account Manager - Sales at H.B. Fuller Company, you will play a critical role in driving sustainable sales and profit growth for Engineering adhesives and Woodworking Panel and Composite market segments across Malaysia and supporting SEA business. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic account plans, and executing sales initiatives to meet agreed-upon targets, directly contributing to the company’s mission of Connecting What Matters through innovative adhesive solutions that enhance product quality, safety, and performance globally.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include driving sustainable sales and profit growth in alignment with business objectives; actively managing and coordinating the full sales process as the primary liaison between the company and target accounts; conducting market segment assessments to identify growth opportunities and communicating concise overviews to stakeholders; building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts through a consultative approach; developing and delivering compelling, technically grounded value propositions tailored to customer needs; identifying and quantifying value-add opportunities based on deep analysis of customer processes and performance requirements; and acting as a project manager throughout all sales project phases—driving key actions, setting priorities, managing risks, and ensuring cross-functional alignment with global teams.

  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in technical sales within the adhesives and engineering industries, refine your strategic account management and consultative selling skills, and gain exposure to global business operations. You’ll have the opportunity to shape market entry strategies, influence product adoption in high-growth segments like woodworking and composites, and build a track record of delivering measurable sales growth—positioning you for advancement into senior commercial or regional leadership roles within the organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • BS degree, preferably in a Technical or Science field
  • • 5+ years of proven key account management experience in adhesives, engineering, or a closely related industrial field
  • • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver compelling technical sales presentations to diverse audiences, including engineers and procurement leaders
  • • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record as a team player in cross-functional environments
  • • Willingness and ability to undertake significant business travel across Malaysia and supporting SEA countries as required
  • • Proficiency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin) are a plus
